Think they are brilliant. The only thing i would change is at the point where the leg meets the underside of the seat. Where the leg diameter is smaller it looks a bit odd as the angle of the leg leaves an uneven shoulder. I would counterbore the hole in the seat base to allow the full leg dia to disappear into the base, and then the smaller bore carries right through and exits for the wedge to go into. Really small point on an excellent piece of craftmanship.

Heres a quick suggestion, next time you could try ditching the clamps on the pour. Try using a thick CA glue to temporarily stick the wood to the moulds, then pour the resin 😉

Wow. Amazing stuff. My concern with working with epoxies is the yellowing of the epoxy over time, especially in sun light. Have dealt with carbon fiber in direct sun light outside. I spray a 2k automotive clear to seal & give a uv ray protection. May be over board for your use age.

Hi Ben, hope you are well. Super video, as usual. You didn't mention the tall three-legged stool at the end. The legs on this one caught my eye as they remind me of the leather handles on my Estwing hammers/axes. Maybe you could make some skateboard handles for your lathe tools? Thanks for sharing. Stay safe and keep up the awesome work. 👍✌

make a cube with that colourful looking wood then stack another cube that has 50% the length of previous cube then continue to do this until you have a good stack of cubes. make sure you stack them at the corner of the cubes then black a cuboid surrounding the stack of cubes so you can pour clear epoxy in the cuboid then take away the other walls of the cuboid that is a really cool stack of cubes with epoxy making another cuboid.

The author does like to from scratch, kzbin.infoUgkxbnOKZBE4evMO5V2vroHeCjq6d_MV6wJO shaping and trimming wood from large blocks into fine finished products. As another reviewer mentioned, most projects require a lot of high-dollar equipment that most of us don’t have the room or budget for. But, knowing how to do these things, even if we won’t be able to practise the full stack project, is still great.
