Love this. I've made my own bacon a few times, and have had fun playign with differnet mixes of spices.

Hi Julia! Your video came at a huge coincidence for me. I was just looking at slicers and wanted to try my hand again at making bacon...more importantly, I just wrote a note to my wife thanking her for who she is, She's a career woman with ''old fashioned" values and she in no way denies herself her womanly ways and is nurturing, cooks constantly and is loving plus she's God fearing. 27 years with her have been heaven but thanks for the video....Now it's my turn to make bacon..cheers from Denver. PS: I also found this tidbit of information: Bacon fat and olive oil share some similarities, including: Oleic acid: Both bacon fat and olive oil contain oleic acid, a fatty acid that's often considered "heart-healthy". Oleic acid is thought to reduce inflammation and cholesterol levels. Monounsaturated fat: About half of the fat in bacon is monounsaturated, which can reduce blood pressure and the risk of heart disease. Most of the fats in olive oil are also monounsaturated. Calories: Bacon fat and olive oil have similar calorie counts.

ITS 100x better than store brand name bacon.. You will have MUCH BETTER LUCK by putting them into a large baggie. Just rub the bag and turn it over

Yeah I started putting them in a baggie and they both wouldn’t fit so next time I’m going to buy some 2 gallon bags.
