Glory to God I just gave $100 and hope many more will join in giving. FYI if anyone cares the transaction fee is reduced from $3 to $1.31 if you pay directly from your checking account instead of paying by credit card, at least that was what happened for me with Wells Fargo. Also fyi it probably goes without saying but I am not gloating about my giving, I'm only sharing so that maybe someone else will feel encouraged to give also. All Glory to God.

I am an Ethiopian orthodox living in Canada. I would love for this church to be completed and hopefully one day God willing, I’ll be blessed to visit it. We all have to help out with what we can so it can be completed and furnished with the beauty it deserves. I came across the KZbin channel by chance and I love the prayer services from this monastery. It’s absolutely beautiful and the melodies reminds me of the Ethiopian Orthodox traditional hymns and prayers I grew up with so I feel at home listening to them. The only notable difference is this is in English while the Ethiopian orthodox services are mostly in Ge’ez, the ancient liturgical language of the church. God bless orthodoxy and may she prosper in his glory❤
