Danni, after watching this video I had to check this place out. If you check this video at the 28.05 mark, behind the wooden salad bowl and under another item. You can just see the georges briard wood and glass box Crazy Lamp lady recently sold for $195! I've wanted that piece and scored it for $19.

I agree with Jordan; you just need to be creative. Turn the bench on it's side and wear it as a stylish backpack or clothing accessory. This reminds me of an old Carroll Burnett show skit where Carroll (as Scarlett) used old drapes, complete with curtian rod as shoulder pads, to make a new dress. 🤣💙

I believe the textured glass bowl you thought was Finnish/Swedish is made by Hoya of Japan. I almost bought one but researched and came up with that but I agree, it looks very Scandinavian!

I just LOVE seeing you shop with your kiddos. They each have their own interests and you teach them all about it. I especially enjoy seeing you and Jordan together...such an adult bonding time. I have 2 sons 44 and 41). The youngest son likes the antiques from his grandparents on both sides but not so much the things I have bought...except for my Christmas village and Christmas china. The older doesn’t care one way or another.

Garage sales are great! Prices are good even estate sales! You are right thrift store are getting pricey! Not a reseller just love beautiful things at a great price! Very careful not to collect too much give my friends my old treasures as I upgrade!

Toile is pronouced "twall" (short a). I was so proud of myself when I learned how to pronouce it. I have made some pillows in a blue and white print. That Fenton pale yellow-green was popular in the 70's when I got several pieces of it--I think the color is called custard. I went on one trip; I mailed some of my purchases home wrapped in dirty laundry so I could pack my treasures and bring them home! Another time we bot a $20 duffle to pack T-shirts for the kids at home! Will you thrift a suitcase?

Danni, we're about tge same vintage and I have difficulty reading labels and brand too. I found that Ottlight make a pulse size magnifying lens that even lights up when opened. Found it at Staples but you might find it elsewhere too. It would really help you out.

I have one of those ashtrays but it’s not fish. I think it’s pelican, but I’m not really sure. It is about 57 years old if not older, my father bought it in Arizona when we lived in Ft. Huachuca. Great video. 🌹❤️🥰

I was a huge fan of Steve Irwin. I cried so hard the day he died. He was and still is one of my biggest heroes. And Bindi, Robert, Terri, Chandler, and all of Steves friends at the wildlife center are doing Steve proud.

I just recently found that thrift store too. (their signs are fabulous) prices were a lil high. a cup and saucer were marked individually and i didn't realize it, so it was going to be $10 and i said no, so she's like ill give it to you for $5 and also there was a 20% off that day. The owner woman was super nice. They just in the last 4 months added the thrift part to the furniture store. yes Consignment Classics is great! i bought a recliner there recently. I like all the knick knacks they have now. I'm surprised you didn't go to AMVETS , you were so close!
