Lots of ppl hate Sharoon. I like her character. Is complexed and flawed. Her relationship with Eddie is so complicated but they do love each other. I love buddie, but i do think fans tend to be so harsh to all the female characters that approach eddie or buck, which sucks.

I totally agree, something i appreciate about the series is Eddie holds himself accountable for his part in their relationship failing. They where just realizing that they loved each other but weren't in love.

@@CrimsonAngelWinges i do think they were in love though, just a LOT happened to them so quick and they were so young and both weren’t equipped at all to know how to navigate them, and when they tried actually communicating and learning how to do it and learning to properly love each other in a healthier way…. Well u know what happened at the end there😭 (dont wanna spoil it). Which is what makes it so tragic to me. It was something that was at the cusp of genuinely becoming good for all involved.

Yeah I don't massively like Shannon but like Eddie she was in a bad situation and Eddie's family probably didn't help with the way they treated both of them. (also the fandom is awful to anyone who gets in the way of 'buddie', it's a bit extreme)

To be honest most of their love interests aren't the best. I think Ali is the best Buck has had and Eddie, I don't care for any of them. Shannon and Eddie aren't good for each other. I don't like her because she seems to run when things are difficult. However I do recognize she raised Chris for a long time by herself when Eddie was deployed. Eddie stayed in contact though. Shannon left in the middle of the night or early enough in the morning that Chris knew she left. She also never cared to contact Chris in years.

I'm all for acknowledging that Shannon and Eddie both made mistakes, and I do think that people make Shannon out to be a villain, but the difference is that Eddie stayed in contact every way he could with Christopher and Shannon went no contact for 3 years...I wouldn't forgive that and I hate that people make out that what Eddie and Shannon did was the same when it wasn't.
