Oscar’s so cerebral :) He’s always thinking a couple steps deeps into how things may affect a character. Very interesting to watch for a show I watched to casually. Regarding his question about Monica’s love language… my sister is a lot like her. Most gifts just annoy her. If she needs something she gets the version she wants herself and everything else seems like clutter forced upon her. She has a plan for her own things and doesn’t like unsolicited help. Honestly I think the best I can do is ‘get excited with her’. I don’t know if that’s a love language. But when she does get excited about something and wants to share then she has probably been thing thinking through it a lot already and so if I listen in that moment and get excited with her then it seems appreciated :)

The cousin storyline isn't my favourite because Ross is so awkward and creepy but someone made a video of the scene of them watching the movie and removed his thoughts to show how it could have easily become a psycho thriller (added with dark & gloomy lighting, music and zoom-ins which makes it even more creepy). The only issue I have with the bridal shower episode is that there is no way Rachel wouldn't know about needing to plan a shower for Monica and get her a gift. She has said repeatedly how much she has planned to be Monica's maid of honor forever, she even competed with Phoebe about it, already had "something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue" for Monica, and couldn't wait to do all the things that a maid of honor would do. So it just seems like a forced plot just to be "funny." You can have stuff go wrong with the shower without acting like a character in love with weddings wouldn't have even planned for one.
