Toilet that slides out into the shower from under the bed is absolutely ingenious. Can't wait to see how it will work.

Yeah, the frame is really giving it a lot of character. The best part of the adventure is that you"re both doing it as a team. The strength and weaknesses you each have, compliment the team concept. It's great how well you both work together. It's truly a labor of love!!

Great job. You two are so positive and fun to watch. I think that I will cancel Netflix and just watch your channel. I real like that there is no drama. You two are so great together. You remind me of my wife and I 40 years ago. Natalie’s voice is so calming. Thank You for sharing your adventures

The bus is really taking shape! Love the completely stained deck, and that you enjoyed breakfast up there. The framing looks great! I look forward to seeing walls and everything else you have planned! Also loved that Jimmy didn't need the ladder instructions, but Natalie read them anyway.

Now that you have the ladder built to match your needs, take it to a welding shop, they can use it as a template to build a much better unit. If you get down to Florida I can make you one in a day or two. But still looks good. David and Tammy from Florida.

Love the silver looking ladder. I was going to go with a black ladder, but after seeing your silver colored one on your style bus (same as mine) it looks really good. My flashers were deleted already so that shouldn't be a problem on my build but I'm pretty heavy guy and will likely need to use my own pipes and weld one together. The creaking I heard wouldn't work for me. Definitely going silver though after seeing yours. I'll probably move my plate to the other side because they are switchable, and use the ladder on the left. I want to be able to hop out my back exit door from my bed and climb up without touching the ground below. Also nice job on the shower toilet concept, I may have to do something similar with the sliding toilet.

I agree with your thinking regarding the bathroom, neither one of you are big and so a small space is all you really need, after all, you are building for yourselves. I know that I am a nosy old woman (75 + years) but could you provide some of your background information, if not that is fine too. Thank you for another great post.
@JimmyandNatalie3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Yes the shower is perfect for us!😄 And yes! We’ve been getting a few questions about our backgrounds from others as well, so we are planning to do a Q&A video very soon! In that video we’ll be talking about what led us to this point as well as answering some questions from you guys! 😄

Great work, I like your roof deck. 👍 For my Skoolie that is impossible, as I‘m living in Germany and I did not. receive approval from local authorities. Best wishes from Germany Wolfgang

Just looking at your lay out. Are you able to place a fold up bed over the driver's cab are. When folded down, will be level with the windscreen. When up into the roof. That's just my silly thoughts. But you are doing a great job. "Compact space". Happy travels. Regards

Are there any tricks or tips to getting the framing and cabinets level and square?
@JimmyandNatalie3 жыл бұрын
All we really had was a metal square to help align the vertical beams. One thing I did do was I would measure the distance between the wall to the support and then try to duplicate that on the other side of the door frame. At least that way, if one of them is slightly crooked, they both would be 🤷♂️

Random question, what type pocket jig are you using? Seems sturdier than the plastic one.
@JimmyandNatalie3 жыл бұрын
It's a Kreg brand pocket jig that's been handed down on Jimmy's side. I would send you an Amazon link, but all I see are plastic ones. We really love ours though, it works great!
