Can we take a moment to recognize this man for his honesty. People that don't want to change deny everything. He wouldn't be there telling his story if he wasn't sick of the life he's living. I pray for your recovery sure. I'm about a year sober off meth and I know how hard of a road it is but you can do it. May God bless this man and his family

I want to start off by saying congratulations on a year of sobriety, this September makes 4 years for me! Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe the word your looking for is “accountability.” He is taking accountability for his actions by telling the truth in order to receive the help he needs. Accountability is hard to accept if I’m being completely honest with you. Now if I was to be honest with myself? I’d say taking accountability was the hardest part of the process for me. Acknowledging and admitting to the actions and decisions I made was eye-openingly difficult!

The most impressive person in this whole story is his daughter. She called into the show for help, and she definitely is responsible for saving his life. She's extremely, incredibly strong and sweet and beautiful and he's so lucky he has a family willing to help him through sickness and in health. His wife was basically raising these children alone and she's a phenomenal woman and mother. Don't ever let go of the love and support you have! ❤

I sure hope he really wins this battle with addiction for him and all if his family who has stayed by his side through the hardest time. This story has been worst than having to raise children by yourself because everything that you worked for is being snatched away from you. And then you have to answer to those little ones you love and that breaks your heart even more. It like taking two steps forward and 5 steps back especially one you start adding the broken promises.

Don never once blamed anyone or anything for his downward spiral of stealing to support his drug addiction. He took full responsibility for his actions; denied nothing except happiness for himself and his family. Very rare on a show like this. You could almost sense some remorse in his voice. He truly felt and proved himself guilty and sorry as hell. Steve didn't yell at him which is rare in cases like these.

A. It’s more a a people thing with communication issues cause women are trash at it too B. Society teaches us not to express emotions or any kind of feeling and that’s where you learn most of your communication skills so even if it was specifically men it’s not our faults we’d love to be able to communicate without being ridiculed as if we’re less of a man

Yeah it's honestly kind of odd. Getting off hard drugs is one of the most physically/psychologically torturing things to do (regardless of how strong-willed you are), yet he seemed really casual about it. But then again, he said that he's already been clean for 6 months, so I don't really get why he needed rehab in the fist place.

@@عمرحليله-خ7ع I heard him say he had been clean fir 3 weeks, but he was in jail for one of them, so that one didn't count. Even if he had been clean fir 6 months, it didn't mean he didn't need rehab. I commend him for going at the drop of a hat.....looks like a totally different person. God bless him and his family and may he continue on his road to recovery. It's a lifelong battle to beat any addiction and remain clean . His wife and children deserve to have a happy, loving family life.

I loved rehab when I went. The first week I did nothing but cry and I hated it but once I got done withdrawing, I didn't wanna leave. Everyone there, the staff and everything, just treat u with so much respect and those daily affirmations that we had to do every morning basically saved me from myself each and everyday, it was just amazing. And I'd have to say it was the best experience of my life as well.

His younger children are an additional reason for him to keep on living and being a better person. I respect his honesty and how he accepts accountability for his action. I've been there, functioning addict for about a year. Took care of my son, worked every day, didn't run the streets, kept bills paid and food stocked. My use was my way of numbing myself to my mother's abuse...when i was high, i didn't feel the pain and hurt. I stopped because of my son who was three, the thought of me not being there for him and her having to raise him scared the hell out of me. I quit cold turkey. I've been clean almost 40 years, never looked back. Made an amazing life for my family and myself. Crack is not a "just let me try this just once"....its the FAandFO drug. I've lost friends because of it. Addiction is a monster and until you walk in the shoes of and addict you will never quite understand the physical, mental and emotional toll it takes on you. To those of you out there fighting this battle, please don't give up and dont let your shame, fear stop you from asking for help. Peace and blessings.

These videos make me feel so happy that I’m not battling any addiction with drugs and/or alcohol, for 20years I’ve been smoking cigarettes and I’ve quitted and that was challenging, still vape though hopefully I can quit it altogether

I really hope he got help and is clean now. I love that he was honest and didn't deny anything and even added to what Steve knows and said things he did that are worse. Honesty is the first step and I hope he went through all the other steps

The first step to getting clean is admitting that you have a problem and that YOU made those choices, you're the reason you started. It takes a lot to admit it. I've had to steal to feed my children also, i still do from time to time. Im a single mom and i struggle hard. I understand both parts of their story intimately. I'm so proud of him and every other addict who has worked kn themselves. It IS possible. Never give up.

I am really proud of this guy. if he did not want help he would have found every excuse for doing the things that he's doing. he knew in his heart that he was doing something bad to his family but did not know how to stop and turn his life around. he needed help. itnreally touched my heart when the little boy ran into the father's arms. it is obvious that he loves his daddy very much.

It was really heartbreaking to see her walk out there and hug her dad. Because typically for children, no matter how badly out parents hurt us, we still love them and want to be nurtured by them. He's destroying her and she still wants to be comforted by him.

Im 7 years sober (lord willing will have 8 years next month). I was the biggest piece of 💩 on the planet. I didn’t care about nothing, didn’t care if I lived or died. The fighting, the Im sorrys etc are all true. I pray people never experience addiction. You destroy yourself and your family. I know people will never fully understand as well. I am grateful everyday I have another chance. I work my ass off to prove myself. This guy has to want sobriety he has to fight for it. I lost friends who went back out. I pray he’s sober
