Broski I was in the same boat. Over the last year I've been focusing on building a team that allows me to do what I enjoy doing and they handle the rest. The type of roles you gotta cover are going to vary from person to person but for me what works best. Me - PreProduction + Production + High level admin Editor (remote) Admin Assistant (remote) Production Assistant (local) Currently, best team I've ever built. Hope that helps! At the end of the day keep trial and erroring tell ya find what makes ya happy everyday. Reach out if you need anything.

Quality over quantity for sure! You’ve gotta do what’s best for you, man. We come here for you and your personality first and foremost, not the projects. Your channel is “Spite’s Corner” not “VMAX Build Corner” or anything else like that. It is also my opinion that your concerns about click-bait are overblown. I’ve heard you apologize about it in a couple videos now. You shouldn’t be so concerned. That’s the game man, we know it, you know it. This is KZbin, not the evening news. We’re here to be entertained. There’s not this big expectation for journalistic integrity beyond not lying about products and getting bought-off by brands. A good, clickable thumbnail is essential to grow the viewer base. As long as it’s not a bold face lie, then who cares. Look at channels like whistlin diesel: Crazy thumbnails, ridiculous projects, but at the end of the day, they deliver on the promise to entertain. People keep coming back for that alone. Do cool stuff, don’t be too fake about it, and bring us along for the ride. Jake, we’re here to support you living this life of motorcycles and adventures. The only thing you owe us is to keep doing it. You can’t do that if you’re burned out and the channel isn’t paying the bills.

Personally i prefer quality over quantity and i also think it's very importuned to take care of yourself. i myself have been in the situation where i was either having a burnout or close to it where things just didn't seem worth it anymore where amount of effort just didn't bring results (or at least that's was the feeling i had) and that's just not good for you. Sometimes you just need some time for yourself or spend some time with your loved ones you need moments where you can forget about work or troubles that you might be having.

dont forget to just include a phone armband like runners use, its the best and cheapest option. Just strap it to the inside of your forearm and raise your hand every time you wanna look at directions for a second. Pairing it with some cheap nice bluetooth buds under the helmet is the best combo, saves a TON of money from cardo stuff + expensive phone mounts. GOAT setup, i'd recommend galaxy buds 2 for the job

Parking lot drills are like a party trick... "oh that's impressive, how does that apply to real life?" Of course I think that there are some fundamental handling skills that all riders must learn, but I don't agree with the tyrannical approach that quite a few instructor types impose upon the endeavor. I definitely agree that there are a set of tactics and strategies for riding that are far more applicable to street riding than one's ability to do a figure eight.

Making motorcycling videos must be tough. From my point of view I only watch video's/reviews on bikes that I'm interested in and travel videos of the dual sport/adventure bike kind being more biased to off road such as BDR's or what you did with Dork. I also like European bikes more than Japanese with the exception of the Kawasaki Z900 RS. Tough to make everybody happy all the time.

Sounds like you have too many pies & not enough fingers. At least we got a preview of your Canadian exploits from Dork. And I totally agree, carpark drills are great for the carpark, but that’s maybe 1% of people’s riding. The rest of the time you’re riding on the street with traffic, or down a dirt road or single track. Knowing how to do a slow figure of 8 isn’t really helpful in those situations.

Oh boy, Burnout! I've been a farmer for about 10 years now... talk about burnout. I'm glad you are slowing it down... you must slow down and take more time for yourself before you get too far down the burnout rabbit hole... once you go past a certain point (which will be different for each individual) it takes MUCH more time and self care to recover every time you hit burned out. I like your content and want to see you continue... but not at the expense of your mental health or a healthy life with the people you love. I support 1 vid per week with an occasional bonus vid especially if you can manage to land them on holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas day... helps those days immensely. Don't agree with the statement that slow maneuver stuff on parking is boring. Slow maneuver stuff is not only a figure of 8, you can have a course created, make a race against the clock of it, learn to manoeuvre under the stress of the timer, swerve, brake, accelerate, transition from braking to accelerating while changing directions etc ... Besides some could say the same about another vid about positioning and vision ... My point I guess is that it's easy to criticize call stuff boring, instead bring on the interesting stuff! Not an expert, of course, but based on my observations, you're trying to attract too many completely different audiences. There are those who wanna watch your Vmax videos, but they got no interest in motorcycle reviews. Then those who watch reviews, don't like motorcycle repairs content. And both of these groups would probably forego your vlogs where you just ride and talk about your channel and your life. And so those people skip a few videos and your channel no longer pops up in their recommendations. Hence, no views. If I were you, I'd try to focus on one specific audience and make targeted content. Of course, it's important to keep it fresh and not to repeat yourself a thousand times like Yammie does. Make less videos, create a second channel if you want to attract a different crowd
