Beautiful bike, but boring AF, sold mine after a few months. Alot of Bikes in the 6-800cc range is way more fun.

Brother you should have way more subs than you have. Great videos
@firestorm75552 минут бұрын
It's all just chasing numbers. I'd say 90%of riders don't need huge power and even if they have it you can't use it all the time on the street. You need easily accessible power and torque, it makes for an easier ride, after that you need suspension. A lower power bike with a good set up will leave behind a hugely powerful bike with a poor suspension set up. User friendliness is where it's at and the bike you have right there has it in spades

Great video ,but the quintessential American bike and therefore the best Harley, is the Fat Boy. It's a motorcycle named after a nuke we dropped on Japan that debuted in celebration of successfully lobbying the government to put higher taxes on Japanese bikes it doesn't get any more American than that 🤷

Yeah but Hondas will run forever
@HornyBradСағат бұрын
I think if the rune was in production it would be worse. On the basis Honda undertook all that R&D and went nowhere with it I'm not entirely disappointed to see someone else make use of it. That flat 8 must sound fantastic. I actually almost wish they'd make a ripoff Valkyrie!

Other moto channels must take note. Also this model is not the last version, you have to see the 2021 refreshed model with updated dash, headlight, tail section etc. Most reviewers have not bothered to understand bikes from a technically competent and design perspective and instead fall for marketing hype. This is a gentleman’s ride targeted at discerning customers who value high build quality over hp and good design lines along with an excellent powerplant. The latest Hornet 1000SP is basically the same power output but with edgy styling and parts bin bike put together with cb500f and cb650r parts therefore its cheaper. Yet moto channels seem to mistake edgy styling for being a hyper naked. All components on this CB1000R instead are bespoke premium and custom designed by Honda for this model. I own the 2022 model and would not sell it because nothing in the current market is quite the same quality targeted at matured customers who dont want awkward trendy styling, loud stickers, and plastic parts etc. As a bonus it’s a great daily ride, you can ride narrow European streets all day on the second gear amidst tight office traffic like a scooter! Calm and sublime 1000cc built like an automatic swiss watch.

10:05: In Europe, depending on the version of this bike, the quickshifter is standard. Otherwise, Honda sells it as an accessory. It’s a typical quickshifter. Upshift while accelerating and down shift with zero throttle.

5:50: I own this bike and ride it in the Alps where I live. It’s a great bike, but the suspension needs a setup if you want to enjoy it in the mountains. The factory setup is too soft and the bike dives too much when breaking hard before entering a curve, then bounces back too quickly. Once setup correctly, it’s great!

I bought one used with only 3K miles. Put a tune on it and a slip on. Sounded great and felt faster to me than a Busa did! Just thought the throttle was to touchy for me. Perfect bike if you are 5'11" or taller. I am only 5'9", could only put one foot down.

Crazy how bike journalism has come to this. Someones interesting tone and outside the box thinking has replaced the bikes being properly tested and pushed by some of the most talented riders. Check out fastbikes mach 3 on youtube and see what bike journalism used to be.

Had the occasion of owning this bike for a couple of months. It's nice but it's typical Honda, in a bad way. Design wise I love it but it's too smooth, and too inanimate to be something of interest for me. I much prefer the less powerful 3rd gen MT09, even if that looks like even it's mother has it's struggle loving that bike looks wise.

Younger guys are so funny. Traction control is about reflexes and throttle control. Those of us that know how to ride want to be in control of our bikes and not turn over control to a computer. Wow, your computer sure is a good rider 😂😂

Seeing one of these on the dyno wirh Moore Mafia and how restricted they are is an eye opener. So much power it won't let you use.

I hate the rear brake. Whenever i lube the chains, some got in the disc brake cause they're so close to the chains. Almost die once ( i don't even have a bike)

Honda does a great job of overbuilding and understressing without a confusing amount of engineering. They really do make great bikes. Some a little mundane but at least you know it'll run forever.

Its the price, on top of the fact its the heaviest and underpowered bike compared to the GSXS 1000 and the MT-10, both weigh less and make more power, the MT-10 making the most and almost the lightest out there, for the same price with WAY fucking more creature comforts. You can get one of these CB1000R's for 10 grand but you can also get a used MT-10 for 10 grand...and have it come with cruise control already...The pros you listed...we not unique to this bike, i mean shit you could walk into a dealership right now and a 2024 GSXS1000 is going for like 10,200 right now. This bike hasnt technically been updated in like 20+ years, its old and over priced even used

I like the early models with the analog tach better than the TFT display. I have been looking for this bike recently. I love the looks and the power is still more than enough.

I purchased the exact same bike new in 2019 and had the dealer install the auto shifter. It was an option as a factory accessory. I paused the video at 10.38 and I could swear this is equipped with an auto shifter.

As for the suspensions, I had to adjust mine to my 200 lb weight and it got much much better. I am surprised people never bother to customize the suspension travel to their weight.

Holy heck! I never thought I'd see a popular KZbinr sing the praises of the CB1000r. It's suuuuuch a great bike. My fav naked. So much more refined than anything else out there. Wonderful bike.

Lowest hp in class means LOWER INSURANCE PRICES people. It’s why the 1000r or even the 650r will be my forever bike one day. Spite, I would love to see a 650r comparison vid. Really interested to see your thoughts. Esp now that the e clutch is a thing. More useable daily-ability. But is the power worth it..?
@urethralsensitivity8 сағат бұрын
There is no way that bike is putting out more than 65 hp. I’ve owned four Sportsters and even with the full Stage 1 and tuner it’s barely getting over 60, if that. I love the Sporties but I wish people would be honest about that. Not that you’re dishonest, you got it from Google, it’s the internet’s fault.
