Nicely done! The gals definitely seem happier to be warmer and not finding frozen eggs is a big plus. Only sad party in this situation are the pigs, since they'll get less eggs 😂

A litter box full of sand may be a good idea for a dust bath for them inside. Looking good, have a great day.

Good morning, John. It is cold here, too 17 this morning. We had almost 9 inches of snow. No school so far this week. We are supposed to get more snow on Friday. I don't want anymore. Lol. Looks like a good move for the chickens. Ours didn't want to come out. Stay warm. God Bless

My weather is very similar to yours as I’m only 90 minutes northwest of you. I was considering backing my chickshaw up against the barn stall that I use for finishing my Bresse chickens. There’s no heat, but it will keep them out of the wind and snow. I had several frozen eggs yesterday. 🙁 I have a second mobile coop that came back up against a much larger stall.
