Honorable Coach Mendez, I saw your post training speech at Dagestan and was touched by it when you got emotional talking about the Dagestani team culture. I went through the same experience when I went to Asia and the people there shared the same exact values and treated me with love I had never experienced. I think its because in Western culture, life is individualistic and material driven and everyday is a competition. And so when people like us meet our fellow Eastern cousins or in your case the Dangestani team, we get a glimpse into a culture and a system of values where they put family, religion and devotion towards helping others above self gain - very contrary to our life here in the west where every man is for himself. People like the Dagestanis and many Easterners live very simple and happy lives and it comes as no suprise when we see them, we just get overwhelmed by their kindness. Was this what you experienced and touched you so deeply when you went to Dagestan coach?

What are you tripping about the judges for? They judged it just fine. Merab landed 0 TDs in round 3, and the striking was damn near identical, but being that Merab got cut and Sean didn't even have a scratch on him, I gave round 3 to Sean. Round 5 was obviously Sean's. Merab had 1 minute of control time, but Sean stuffed 3 of his TDs, and those teeps hurt Merab 3 times. Remember, the #1 judging criteria is DAMAGE, and Sean dealt the most damage in Rounds 3 and 5. The TDs Merab got in round 5, O'Malley was able to immediately get up, making them useless.

Sandhagen was Nr. 2 when he fought Umar and it was clearly the next-contender-fight. Figgy's best win at 135 is against Chito who only got to fight for the title bc Sandhagen was injured. Sandhagen stomped Chito not too long ago either, who was ranked only at 5 when Figgy fought him. No matter how you turn it, the win over Sandhagen is more valuable than the win over Chito.
