You learn to live with it in peace by acknowledging it happened, it was painful, you will never get an apology, and day by day you manage. I was a victim of slave trafficking in my early 20's and tossed on the side homeless to die by people that made promises, calling me family and friends. The day I woke up was the day I was sleeping in the cold realizing they're not coming back for me. I was crying and sad day by day. But one day I was fortunate enough to come across a quote said (When you're in the bottom you have nothing to lose and everything to gain) I am now a restaurant owner in GA but this is just another stepping stone towards greatness. Moral of the story is, educate yourself, observe those who call you family and friends in a short amount of time and have your own mind.

When I bought my home. I moved everything in only to realize it was too far from work to commute.. So I moved everything out 5 months later. Decided to rent it out till i figured out what to do...all I did was pay that mortgage down even to this day..10 yrs later. After a few years my mortgage was at a more comfortable amount so i moved in and transferred jobs. Now i can semi retire to almost fully retire anytime I want once I sell the home. 10 yr goal reached. * Buy your primary residence. Rent it out or perhaps the basement. Pay it down. Watch it appreciate.

I'm 26 years old and I feel like I've wasted my time to achieve what 20 year old guys are doing now. I have always been fighting against time I've wasted and compared it to the people that I'm close with and that destroyed me mentally. But along the way I found this man and others on KZbin that have made me "woke" and I'm transforming to a wolf instead of staying as a sheep. What I'm trying to say is if your 30,40,50 or whatever age, it's never too late unless you dead, to achieve greatness no matter what magnitude of the success is. I hope that you Don't mind my words. I believe that your first Achievement was coming to the acknowledgement that you've been wasting a lot of time. Try not to ponder over it. Where you are right now and the achievements of your peers is neither here nor there ( unimportant). Besides you are still young enough to surpass them if you wanted to.Some are taught the rules at a very young age and sometimes they're good listener and executors.Whereas others it may just take a little more time. Its said that most men spend most of their time recovering from their past ( making up for their 20s in their 30s ,make up for their 40s in their 50s). This spoke to me. I broke the first few minutes when he talked about loss. Oh I cried. You spoke to my heart. This was for me a mother of 6 who fell... I fell and been trying to get up. My father was murdered my mother overdosed and my best friend died. Back 2 back n I wouldn't wish it on anyone your right. Right after that I ended up in jail for something I didn't do for 34days I sat on maximum security because of a lie. Due to this I lost my house while in jail my kids were put out due to a program housing plan we were in. I lost it all and then got out and live in a hotel with my babies. I work a dead-end job with small pay barely get by.. so I broke.. oh god I broke divorced from my high school sweetheart abandon me and our kids. I fought for my sister son because she is getting high so he adds on a our 6th but godddd I love my kids. I LOVE MY KIDS. I JUST WISH I KNEW WHAT TO DO NEXT TO GET US BETTER. BECAUSE THEY DESERVE THE WORLD.. IM HUNGRY. I WANT MORE. AFTER 2 YEARS OF COURT THEY DISMISSED THE CASE I SAT IN JAIL FOR.. I FEEL LIKE I LOST EVERYTHING I HAVE NO FAMILY NO HOME JUST 6KIDS THAT DESERVE MORE... AS A CHILD ABUSED AND NEGLECTED MISTREATED AND TRYING TO BREAK GENERATIONAL CURSES I ASK THAT U PRAY FOR ME.
