Second day for me!!
@amandamnqumevu8352 жыл бұрын
Please share, I've been hopeless for so long, I put myself in situations just to belong am longing for Love, Comfort, peace.. I overthink everything, I Love so much that I can't accept when the next person is not there anymore. Deep down inside I know am better than this, I know I can do more for myself, but it's so hard because I feel like I need someone to complement me in everything I do, I've been a nobody from my family to relatives.. Am tired of living like this, am in a very toxic relationship right now, but am still here even though I know this man can leave any day and go and marry the woman who he promised to marry at home. I want to leave, but I have no where to go, I fear to go home coz I don't want to be a laughing stock at home as I left, and now that things are sour I see a need to go home. Please advise coz am drained emotionally, I tried committing suicide, I walked out in the middle of the night few times and he never bothered to stop me, I don't know if am in denial about everything. I want to do what's best for me... Please help me

@@manufran02 I agree. This is the one and only thing in this speech I do not agree with. Somethings in life you do not get over, you learn to live with it in peace. You learn to live with it in peace by acknowledging it happened, it was painful, you will never get an apology, and day by day you manage. When a thought of the trauma pops up, have the thought, let it pass. And as time goes hopefully you will think about it far and between.

@@kayk2899 Yes, you can try to suppress it and keep it hidden from others, but you know exactly what it is and it has a tendency to remind you it is still around iregardless of how quietly you try to manage. I was a victim of slave trafficking in my early 20's and tossed on the side homeless to die by people that made promises, calling me family and friends. The day I woke up was the day I was sleeping in the cold realizing they're not coming back for me. I was crying and sad day by day. But one day I was fortunate enough to come across a quote said (When you're in the bottom you have nothing to lose and everything to gain) I am now a restaurant owner in GA but this is just another stepping stone towards greatness. Moral of the story is, educate yourself, observe those who call you family and friends in a short amount of time and have your own mind.

Technically if you missed the Moon you’d be floating in Space aimlessly for 1000s of Years, as the nearest star is light years away. I’m not a pessimist or a neighsayer by the way.. Just couldn’t resist 😅
@alltheworldsastage47854 жыл бұрын
This doesn't make sense, the Stars are further away from earth than the moon, he should have atleast said if you miss the moon, you'll land on the clouds, which is still pretty high.
@amit_patel6543 жыл бұрын
I think he got it backwards though. Isn't it "Shoot for the stars because even if you miss, you might land on the moon?"

God Bless Les Brown for sharing a piece of his own story. It was sad at first yet very emotional & inspirational. My depression went away the moment I heard it. He made me see that one person’s problem is another ones blessing. His kids learned from his teachings. There will never be another Les Brown!.👏🏾

I've been evicted twice, been married to a narcissist, fired from 2 jobs (because I didn't miss no ass to get ahead), almost didn't make home from an accident at job last year, and I'm still standing and pushing forward to the next best thing in my career. I thank God I'm still here to make my daughter smile everyday. My mentor sent me this last night and watching this just boosted up my adrenaline. Let's get it in.

When I bought my home. I moved everything in only to realize it was too far from work to commute.. So I moved everything out 5 months later. Decided to rent it out till i figured out what to do...all I did was pay that mortgage down even to this day..10 yrs later. After a few years my mortgage was at a more comfortable amount so i moved in and transferred jobs. Now i can semi retire to almost fully retire anytime I want once I sell the home. 10 yr goal reached. * Buy your primary residence. Rent it out or perhaps the basement. Pay it down. Watch it appreciate.

I'm 26 years old and I feel like I've wasted my time to achieve what 20 year old guys are doing now. I have always been fighting against time I've wasted and compared it to the people that I'm close with and that destroyed me mentally. But along the way I found this man and others on KZbin that have made me "woke" and I'm transforming to a wolf instead of staying as a sheep. What I'm trying to say is if your 30,40,50 or whatever age, it's never too late unless you dead, to achieve greatness no matter what magnitude of the success is. It can be a pair of shoes or a brand new TV! Or it can be your first home or first car. Or your first business! Keep shooting and as les brownie said it best, "fail to your success"!
