My only problem with the movie is that it never captured that scary but unique atmosphere from the first game, the lighting is too colorfull compared to the games, and there's no a single secene of a few minutes where Mike is watching the cameras while the animatronics are moving, there's no toreator march, no Golden Freddy hallucination. Also, I think that giving the animatronics too much personalities, emotions and expressions takes away the uncanny valley effect and the automatonophobia that the animatronics of the first game had. The horror factor of the animatronics from the first game is that they looked and acted lifeless staring at you with those blank eyes, but ironically they're possesed.

How did you just explain exactly how the movie has made me feel? I literally called what the movie made me experience the five stages of grief as well. I spent the first few days after watching the movie coping harder than I ever had, trying to convince myself that I really liked it, but after a second watch, I realized that it was boring, shallow, and confusing if you look past the fanservice. The movie was sort of my last hope of the franchise taking itself seriously, and with how well it performed at the box office despite it absolutely botching its story and adaptation of the source material, we'll probably end up getting more of the same in the sequels. Other people in this comment section have said this, but it seems like the only reason us older fans stick around at this point is in hopes that FNAF will one day decide to actually try to explore the immense potential of its own premise and story, which hasn't happened since 2017.

I enjoyed the movie enough to not hate it, but I wasn't entirely satisfied with it. I mean with the potential with FNAF 1 is played so safe. The games used to be a ghost story about a psychopath taking children's lives before they even got to experience it. In my opinion the first 3 FNAF games have an amazing and relatively easy to follow story and I just wish it could have been left there. I don't hate 4-6 (and FNAF world is fun as fuck) but they really marked a turning point into whatevers going on with Security Breach and Ruin.

I fully agree! I've heard people mention how much of an impossible task it would be perfectly adapt FNAF into a movie but it's really not that hard. Just stick with the original story and don't overcomplicate it. Keep to the story of the first 3 games and maybe add some ties to the Afton family throughout it. I feel like you described the inevitable FNAF stage that happens, where you play the game, and all of a sudden, it’s your life now. Everything you do, is FNAF. I went through the same process as you, and eventually I did move on. I got bored of it. Sure, I’ll check once a while, see what’s goin’ on, but I never really got back into it. I didn’t watch the FNAF movie, and I probably won’t, but one this is, the FNAF stage was one of the best stages I’ve ever gone through.

FNAF would’ve worked better as a series, and needed a bit more of a coherent cinematic touch from people with better film storytelling experience. I’m just hoping when Scott said the second film’s script is being re-polished due to criticism, that it’s to its benefit and he’s listening to good critique.

From what I’ve seen and the timeline of all things it seems that scott fully wrote the script by himself and just had Emma and Seth make rewrites. And it’s just baffling that they decided to do that, and it honestly feels like they only hired Emma just because she’s a smaller director that they (they as the studio) could control and with that also making to ability to make bigger changes less optional. While it’s good that Scott wants to make improvements and I’m rooting for him to do that, I do think he also needs to be more open to ideas and criticisms from the other writers. And maybe hire one more person along with it, I know they usually say too many cooks in the kitchen could start a fire but in this case I think it’s needed.

Im not gonna lie, but i felt really emotional when watching the movie. I know it sounds dumb but ive been waiting for so long since ive heard about it for the first time so it felt like it was deserved. i know the fnaf movie was not that great and not what i expected but still, Sitting in the theater, tearing up while all the kids were screaming "GAME THEORY!" was maybe the best moment of this year for me. (Yeah its been a pretty shit year, i know.) it felt good knowing that after all those years me and many others still love the series. Maybe nostalgia did carry the whole movie, but who cares? I enjoyed it. Maybe it would be better if it was scarier or more gorey or if it was shorter or longer, but we got what we got and i find it entertaining and relaxing, and that is 100% nostalgia.

This movies shift between being so fan reliant to open to newcomers is so baffling to me. Considering how almost every element from the trailers was setting this up to be honestly great film for both. Even if there were lore changes there was still a lot of familiarity that fans of the franchise can recognize and the changes can also be beneficial for people who are new. But this movies constant flip flopping is just frustrating to watch because they had a really good format but it’s just completely tarnished. The tone is also just……..it’s like this movie is separated into multiple different parts and each part is a different type of movie mixed with family drama in each one. And I know people are quick to blame the PG-13 rating for being the cause to a lot of the problems, but I really don’t think that’s the case in the slightest or at least it didn’t have to be, there have been Pg-13 horror movies where they have a consistent horror tone and have a good balance between being available for a adult and younger audience. It’s just the fact that this movie doesn’t really do a good job at either. There’s just so much to shred into when it comes to story elements, tone, and lack of balance. And even with all that….. I had a really great time watching it….the memory of watching this movie that I have been waiting years for with my older sister who is also a big Fnaf fan and was the main reason I got into this series…..it’s gonna hold a special place in my heart no matter what. And it would be unfair of me to say that no one cared to about making this movie. Seeing a lot of the stuff that was said by production designers and director, behind the scenes info, and some posts from the actors of max and hank( they seem like great people especially seeing their interactions with fans) people definitely cared about making this movie even if the product didn’t end up being that good. I do think it’s a good step that Scott acknowledged the criticisms in one of his Reddit post. I do hope with that the sequel improves upon the original but we’ll have to wait and see. As for my stance with the whole franchise……I’m still sticking around. I just established that I am rooting for the movie series to improve but as for the games I am still intrigued with them. There’s a lot of story ideas and aspects that I like, I also do kinda respect scott for going in. While I am a lot more confused than I was before in the franchise I am still interested. Overall I have been on this ship for 9 years and while there have been some stormy nights….maybe a lot, it hasn’t been enough for me to jump overboard. Even if I do understand why others like you have. Would it be more beneficial for scott to move on from Fnaf…..yeah probably but can we really force him to do that….no, it’s really up for Scott to decide when and that can be a long ways away. So while it has led to this divide, I’m honestly still happy to see where this ship goes. I was gonna end this comment with some poetry but then I realized it was cringe so yeah.

Yo! As a pretty casual Freddy fan, I really liked your retrospective of the series proper, and I totally get how you feel, in the sense of outgrowing something you once enjoyed. Honestly though, I think that happens with nearly everyone at some point. When a big multimedia brand runs long enough and reaches far enough outside its initial scope, it's easy to feel like it's not for you anymore. Perhaps it isn't, but that's up to you to decide. What I think is more important though, is that you don't let any of that devalue what you consider to be the good stuff. Those positive memories will always be there, so keep them close! You never know what kinds of creative inspirations or opportunities may occur, when you stay true to what you love.

Man I have thought about leaving the FNaF community before but it’s really hard because there’s like nothing else out there I love and care for so much. I wanted to move on since the horrible trash that was Security Breach and Ruin. I’ve been a fan since 2014 and I watched the movie and I thought it was really good! I’m glad Scott went back to his old horror roots like with the Tourture Freddy head, the Max death scene, there was some actual gore but the movie was not scary at all. Also another thing, the highlight of the movie was every time William Afton was on screen. Especially at the end of the movie with the Springbonnie suit. It’s a 7/10 movie for me as a hardcore fan. I wish it had a more blood and a bit more gore and focused more on horror. I hope In the next movie Scott makes it scarier. He said that he is taking and reading everyone’s criticisms and critiques and changing the script he said on Reddit. I miss when FNaF was scary and not a joke and meme. When Scott was making the games himself is when FNaF was peak. I love FFPS even though yeah has some colorful characters but it’s such a good ending to FNaF and has horror. Even UCN is good and it shows what William Afton goes through. The original story should have ended there. FNaF 1, FNaF 2, and FFPS are my favorite FNaF Games. I hope Scott listens to our criticism for the horror. I heard that Scott originally made the movie Rated R but some people on the Blumhouse team wanted it to be watered down so the can be more open to kids for money or something like that. I hope the next movie will be Rated R. I watched the movie with my family and they all agree it could have done better with it being Rated R. It should Rated R. I hope FNaF will be scary again…

I don't really understand that sentiment with SB and RUIN? I obviously understand hate for SB, but then there's people acting like it's a definitive sign the franchise has become trash, yet keep in mind, IT IS ONE SINGULAR GAME. We have had singular bad games in the past, but for some weird reason, people have taken SB as a sign that things have gone to shit for the whole franchise. It does not make sense in the slightest. And then there's RUIN, which I just don't understand hate for? Yes it has flaws, but it's such a massive improvement over the base game. And it's also even stronger evidence that just simply taking SB as a sign that the franchise has gone downhill, is just stupid. Bc ok, people are saying that supposedly the new FNAF era is terrible, it's kid-shit, etc. But all of those statements came from SB on it's own? And they're acting like new-FNAF era is SB, yet then seemingly forget that the new FNAF era also included Help Wanted, and Ruin, and Fazbear Frights, and Tales From The Pizzaplex, and the upcoming Help Wanted 2, etc. MAJORITY of these things mostly, if not COMPLETELY, show a very different image to that that's supposedly painted by SB, with that supposedly being kid trash. Yet people just seem to completely not talk about at all, all of other modern FNAF stuff

Man, the movie COULD HAVE been good. They didn't keep it simple, at all. I completely agree with you. Afton should've been a character set up for the sequels, foreshadows throughout the movie, and the animatronics are just evil on their own, trying to kill the security guard bc they think you're the one that killed them. The useless shit with the Aunt, and everything else to fill up screentime was ridiculous. I'm not here for a subpar drama/mystery plot, I'm here to see the horror of killer animatronics and the dark story of it all, but it all feels so spoofed. Like sure, it's very hard to make a FNAF movie without making it a little goofy because it is, but that's finee, just stop flip flopping between serious and goofy. This movie is gonna age terribly. As someone who was swept up in the initial craze with how it hit middle school classrooms like crack in low-income neighborhoods in the 80's, I was enamored by the mystery, the intrigue, the scariness right off the bat, and since I've always been a big fan of horror from a young age, I instantly fell in love. I didn't play the games much and only really tried them out a few years down the line, but I was enamored nonetheless. It waned as the years went on, but I had a small resurgence in high school that lasted for a bit around the release of Help Wanted, but that only lasted a year or so, I think. While I still have a fondness for the series, and I *do* intend to watch the movie (since it's not only the talk of the town, but I need to make a use out of the free 6 months of Peacock I got via HHN tickets LOL), I'm probably not the first person who had the series soured by Scott's political campaign donations coming out (like, IIRC, straight up maxing out donations with Mitch McConnell). I know I'm probably gonna get shit for daring to criticize the God Emperor of the franchise himself, but as a trans woman, I certainly don't like the money he made going to politicians who want to, at best, strip away all my rights, and at worst, want to round us up and kill us. Hell, I *bought* the games, so there's a good chance it was *my* money going to it, too. To make another 80's analogy, FNAF became like the uber-popular slasher classics of yore: Stretched out into so many sequels, spinoffs, and reboots that are of dubious quality, and you need a chart to see how the timeline(s) works. I suppose it's a fitting fate for a horror franchise based on that general era. I think people just need to realize that, like... The past is gone. Clinging to shreds of nostalgia is just going to make you a sadder person, and sometimes the best option is moving on. If you barely enjoy the thing you claim to be a fan of and feel obligated to stay, why? Why entrench yourself in things that only bring you sorrow and anger? As someone who's a fan of both Homestuck and Destiny, I see this sentiment too much, too. If you feel like this, I implore you to try something new. Something fresh. Be it another video game, or an entirely different medium/hobby. For a personal recommendation/plug (since this game basically re-wired my brain), try out SIGNALIS. It's a 3rd person horror game a-la classic PS1 Resident Evil with a cassette futurism aesthetic, gay military robots, an esoteric story and lore, and lots of blood n' guts. This is probably just rambling, but this was a good video. It can be hard to say goodbye, but sometimes, it's for the better.

I miss the tension, the mystery, and the horror. In my opinion, it's been waning away ever since Sister Location, and I don't know if it'll ever come back. The books and Security Breach seem to be the last nails in the coffin, fully leaning into that sanitized, mascot horror style that I don't like. It's sad, really. I find it weird Scott Cawthon sucks at writing stories in FNAF. In his other games he can communicate a story pretty good. The Bible Plays, a comedic twist on bible stories which feel pretty straightforward to me, The Desolate Hope, a tragically melancholic game which is about childhood and value of life, also very straightforward with a simple, but interesting story. So why does Scott struggle so much with FNAF? I can't help but wonder to think if he even WANTS to write for this franchise when he can't write for it properly and maybe not even enjoy it? The FNAF movie came out like in October and its December and I still haven't even attempted to go and watch it, but this fan film called Night Five managed to make me want more and want to rewatch it again and again and again. I can't really care for the actual movie more than I care for Night Five. After watching the movie in my experience with the community, I just haven’t been enjoying the series. I still think the first game is the best game in the series after that, Scott went to little off the rails and made the story way too goofy and sci-fi it’s toward nothing really cool next making theorist going mentally insane The movie was OK. It’s not good great or amazing. It definitely could have been better in for the community. They have been harassing multiple people who makes a theory that they don’t like or if you have a different opinion on something you will get harassed because apparently you’re not allowed to do that anymore I’ve been left the Fnaf community mainly because it’s become so toxic in the games have become more baby meme goofiness it’s why I left the community I hope one day that they make a really good fnaf game and if they do get a sequel, hopefully they improve

I'll be honest, I switched off from following the lore once it went goofy + sci-fi as well. The biggest two factors for me was introducing the books into the main plot, and retconning parts of the stories for the sake of continuation. Sister Location was the beginning of missing lore and context. Apparently, the book played a part in bringing clarity to SL's story, that inserts a retcon of the main villain for greater story potential long-term. Missing lore and retcons didn't bother me much at the time, but with how confusing 4 was I didn't think too hard about the lore and simply hated SL for its story and gameplay. 6 was a definitive end to the franchise. All the contributing cast was killed off in a ball of flame to finally put a rest to the trapped souls and trap another in a hole for eternity. So what happens next? Cool spin-off games. And then what? Retcons. Apparently, purple guy, the brilliant genius scientist, managed to save his consciousness inside a machine and infect a tester in what was a meta overview of FNaF. Help Wanted was awesome, but by manifesting reasons to continue the franchise through the books it confused a hell of a lot of people since 6 was supposed to be THE END/le fin. Long story short, Scott double backed on his interview with Dawko and turned FNaF into his personal money maker. Fans I've talked with claim there were loose ends that justified continuing the franchise, but they never mention the insane retcons that would follow: "FNaF 6 took place under the pizzaplex!" "One of the golden freddies still inhabit Freddy or something!" "Changing purple guy's mission" "Fazbear Co is somehow not bankrupt after failing, with the CEO (Henry) burnt to ash" Naming more retcons wouldn't be productive as they branch off one another, but the doubling down on sci-fi themes was taken straight from the books. FNaF may have been paranormal, however dragging in more kid friendly vibes and spirits hacking into the internet just became... Too much.

I hope SB was a fluke but I was so disappointed with how unfinished it was- not even the bugs, but the story! So much left on the cutting room floor. Ruin didn't fix anything and actually ruined some great characters in the process. As for the movie.. I'm still unsure how to feel. It was better than I expected but I don't think I'd like it if I wasn't a fan. I'm also upset it's just another elseworlds story. I expected that but it's still so frustrating. It's impossible to like every single thing about FNAF...take what you like and ignore what you don't like. I like the movie but it was rather underwelming...what was good was the animatronics and afton himself and that's what the fans want to see but we didn't get enough of that. They spent way too much time on Mike's personal problems which was boring. He slept during his night shifts and the animatronics never come after him. They strayed too far from the lore by inserting Vanessa into the story. Afton has 3 kids not just one. It's unacceptable to just say Michael Afton doesn't exist...he's been part of the lore for so long.

Me and my sister literally traveled to the Odeon in central London to watch the movie on release, We were expecting a VHS type horror movie, Instead we saw a group of people building a fortress with the animatronics, it was kind of sad to see really. It just didn't feel like a horror movie at all, To be honest, I was more disturbed walking out of Coraline then I was to this one. Firstly, I feel that Mike was quite calm and didn't care about the fact that the animatronics were possessed by kids, at no point did he try and just quit the job or call police, instead he'd still continue going to work and discussing the issues with Vanessa which just seemed so unrealistic. I also feel they did an awful job at portraying the ghost kids, I mean they could've given Mike dreams of kids being lured away by Spring Bonnie or something and then the parts and service door closes and you see blood spilling out you know? The overall atmosphere of the movie was just not scary at all, they'd constantly crack small jokes and at times the acting felt a bit forced and again, unrealistic. The animatronics are meant to be presented as a threat yet they're playing with kids and hopping into taxis with Coryxkenshin. Fnaf + and VHS tapes really put the movie to shame, The movie is clearly designed for a younger demographic which is quite annoying because the whole concept of fnaf was originally meant for an older audience, if anything the more disturbing the movie the more younger people it would probably attract. And sorry sometimes I can't stand other people from the fanbase, I'm no hardcore fan myself but I've been following the games since 2014, I walk into the theater and see a bunch of people dressed up as Monty, Roxy and Glamrock Freddy. Heard them talking and they called themselves hardcore fans yet said they don't pay attention to the lore and have never played the game themselves, no surprise they loved the movie and praised it as they walked out the cinema. In my opinion, I just want the game to go back to a disturbing and horrifying franchise.
@jerichode
@jerichode 6 ай бұрын
I certainly think that the movie was lacking in the disturbing/horror aspects. I don't blame it for not being realistic, hell I think the set-up with the custody battle was a really smart way for Mike to continue to go back night after night. The only issue is the whole custody battle doesn't feel like it's justified as we know nothing about the aunts personality except how Mike views her. Like she just dies and no one mentions it or reacts in anyway, my theatre clapped actually. The movie seriously has a problem with not building up it's characters. They could get away with a lot more if they earned the good grace of the audience by having characters that we root for.

I think this is the most healthy thing to do once the issues you have with something you previously loved start to outweigh the positives. And we have a textbook example of how toxic that relationship can be with Phisnom. Pretty much everything that caused the drama that made him retire from developing plus was caused by his harsh, cynical criticism of the series, which caused other fans to develop a dislike for him, and the rest is history. It must've been really hard for him to throw the chance of making an official FNaF reimagining to the trash bin, especially because of such a stupid mistake, but I believe it was the best thing for him to do, for his own sake, he seemed to be very burnt out with everything FNaF related in general. This is a phenomenon that has been very present for me this year too, now that I've turned 18, and not only with FNaF, but also with Sonic The Hedgehog and Pokémon. I just dont think that "being a fan" of those is worth it anymore, both because of their mediocre releases (imo) and the increasing toxicity of their fandoms, you can't really have a discussion about something you don't like or how you'd like to see something improved or changed upon without people treating you like a fake fan or a hater, and I don't wanna be a partypooper anymore. I'm only drawn to fangames and fan content in general these days, all of those three communities make exceptionally awesome fanworks, I just don't feel interested in the main outputs anymore because they've lost most of what once made them appealing to me, and also because I'm an adult now, and not rich by any means, I'm way more aware of what I spend my money in. I want to receive a product that I like, with a quality according to the price I'm paying for, not a glitchy mess or an uninspired, boring slog, which is kinda fun now that I think about it, because all three of those franchises newest entries fit into that description (again, imo, sorry for being harsh, but it's not a personal attack, enjoy what you want) I've found alternatives thankfully, because I've been broadening the types of games that I play for these last couple of years. Pizza Tower and Bomb Rush Cyberfunk are everything I've ever wanted out of a Sonic game and more (and their main inspiration isn't even Sonic), I've been enjoying Persona 4 and a lot of Pokémon hacks, and FNaF fangames (wether they're in the fanverse or not) are getting to a point where they are consistently better (in gameplay, at least) than the original entries made by Scott, it's just a shame that there aren't any projects trying to have a shot at OG FNaF's weird point and click, stand still, survival horror formula without being fangames or straight up bad rip offs, it's like FNaF-like games can only be about a spooky pizzeria with haunted animatronics, usually altered versions of any of the other premises from 1-6. I'll still love the parts of these games that I've loved in the past, I'm even sketching and trying to learn about gamemaking for a silly FNaF inspired game based on Pizza Tower's Toppin' Monsters, hell, I've even made several designs and concepts for a reimagining of FNaF trying to make the parts that I do like more cohesive throughout these years. I just feel sad that I can't really expect anything new out of these 3 series to genuinely excite me anymore, when they defined my taste in games and media in general through my childhood. Oh well, it's just a part of growing up I guess, and I'm still open for any of these franchises to give me a pleasant surprise (that Lolbit teaser that Clickteam made recently is the most excitement I've got from FNaF since the announcememt of the Fanverse), as I said, it's just a shame that I'm not expecting that surprise to arrive anytime soon, _if_ ever.

Now that I've grown a pair and decided to play the first four games (because those were the only ones I could get with APK files without having to pay) they honestly have very little replay value and I think that's just because the spooky factor has long worn off. Here r my ideas to improve the movie: After first dream, Mike wakes up in the first night to see Bonnie gone, later Chica disappears too (He'd wake up in 2 or 3 A.M.) After one of dream things, u could see eyes of spirits turn black & black tears (Like in minigames & that bad movie jumpscare) for a short moment before Mike wakes up confused Well, combining night 3 & 4 would feel too rushed, imagine truly seeing these robots up close only to see them building forts later Also during night 4, Mike could tell Vanessa that animatronics smell bad, it's called - FORESHADOWING (for Night 5 plot twist) It'd be cool if in night 2 of fnaf movie, it'd be simular to classic fnaf 1 stuff, but all 4 animatronics would try to hunt down Mike, it'd be like in Onaf - Each hour is harder than it's previous one It'd make sense for it not to happen in night 5, as the animatronics knew what to expect & while Mike's sleeping, Foxy came from left & put him in that torture mechanism & Mike would need to get out It'd show animatronics as smart, like they don't fall for the same stuff & do things differently or smth Scratch that! Freddy is fast & has no hook as one hand, so he should be the one to make Mike to torture device in night 5 Funny, isn't it? All Freddy related bots are the ones which lead to death of 2 people Abby knew & almost killed her brother I wish fnaf movie was actually scary, i don't really understand how William uses drawings to control. That custody sub plot also ended kinda badly. Nobody acknowledges death of Aunt Jane, Mike doesn't even know that he was betrayed by her Now here's not actual review: I found "It's me" refference when during one scene in office where everything was glitching I don't mind William having little screentime. He's supposed to be mysterious villain anyway. Tbh blood not leaking from Spring bonnie suit is kinda realistic. I like how at the end, Matthew made him sound intentionally worse cuz of the pain William endures. His final speech was cheesy but i liked it. I feel like it'd be better if animatronics shoved Spring Bonnie mask on his face, instead of him doing so. But maybe it's connected to William sort of narcissism. William took his pain like a champ & didn't gave pleasure to his previous victims as seeing him suffer. Ngl, William had some sort of charm in this movie I like how animatronics dragged him. It looked cool He also mentioned some owner, which means that Henry might appear in sequel My take is a hot one: I hate game fnaf lore, Henry was introduced too late in the story & i prefer One Night at Flumpty's trilogy anyway (Flumpty is my fav fnaf related character) I hope in sequel we get the reason to why PG killed those kids, like it'd be explained by Henry, no worries, i don't want Henry to just be exposition dump. Ngl, i like pure evil villains In Puss in Boots 2, i prefer Jack Horner over Death I just think that killing kids is a huge deal & we should know why he did that. Also Vanessa being William's daughter makes me interested in their background Ok, William aside I dunno, it's weird to me that whe these filler villains entered pizzeria after Mike left, and it happend after 6 A.M. but Animatronics were still like hostile. But i guess it was some sort of change too. Which makes things even more dangerous (Or was that a thing that William made them do) Overall, i hate all fnaf games aside from 4, HW, SB DLC was mid & i dunno how to feel abt fnaf 1, i had good mood & expectations before watching it & everything was even better than i expected, refferences were great but the actual reasons why i like this movie were characters, how Mike's plot was connected to main story, i like how everything was answered, this movie made me smile a lot while i was watching (I rarely smile) so i hope i wasn't looking weird near some small girl who was sitting near me & saying some lore related stuff to her parents Wen i heard living tombstone song, i started to quietly sing it to myself Overall this movie was like 7/10 I like how devious Spring Bonnie looked with eyebrows in movie intro Major flaw of this movie that it isn't scary. My fav charactet is either Mike or William Tbh i like these presense William had by adding drawings of yellow rabbit. Imagine being a regular guy, seeing these drawings as smth adorable, like his smile looked weird but kids do mistakes while drawing right? But once u find out the twist, u see this sadistic monster, pure evil, sh1thead with his grin. Ngl, William kinda appears randomly, but i liked it... it was unexpected. I liked how his first action trying to mentally f2ck up Mike & just kill him there This movie made me feel tense for character, i felt worried for Abby cuz i thought that Chica would kill her (That suit in which Chica wanted to put her in was some sort of refference abt fnaf book character i never heard of) I felt tense of guy whom was killed by Bonnie, i just imagined how fcked he basically was... i was too when i played fnaf 1 many times as a kid (Couldn't pass night 2 cuz of rabbit) Didn't recognise Mat till i saw comments on internet. This movie had more villains then i expected (Minor villain, now i remember the word) & i don't mind red eyes I don't understand how William was controlling animatronics too. At least Mike was given reason to not quit his job after night 3 I like Cory's cameos Also i like how William's eyes looked before he put on mask for the final time Tbh i like the sounds William was making during springlock scene, like he was hiding his pain from victims cuz of his pride, he looked like he was abt to cry out of pain, but he put himself back together, said the speech & accepted death like a champ Which is one of the reasons why i like his speech I found these comments on internet which i agree with: "I love how he didn't scream or even panic. He knew that would only make the spring locks activate more, so he kinda just accepted his fate instead of screaming and shouting. I think that's one of my favourite details. Also Matthew lillard absolutely slaughtered this role" (I'm not sure if i agree with the last sentence, Matthew was good but not that good. Maybe i should check more scenes of William in movie. I guess that he works. Overall i like the Movie William) "If you think about it, the fact that it's bloodless is a bit more realistic. If you're stabbed, blood doesent pour out of you unless the thing that stabbed you is removed. While there will be some bleeding (as we saw) it'll be a lot less worse than we saw in the minigame. Also, the suit seems to be going one at a time with the springlocks, which is more horrifying that most off them all at once." I might feel like William is my fav character in movie Ngl, "I always come back" seemed kinda forced. But i like the way William said it & he basically wanted to always HAUNT his victims in any way possible Not sure if i said it or not, but i was shocked wen Springlock scene happend Tbh i was a happy person when i walked out of my movie theature Tbh fnaf movie has main flaws: It's hard to understand if u r not a fnaf fan It's not scary And there was no real explaination to how William controlled animatronics & changed their memories That really isn't major issue for me, but i wish there were more scenes where Mike was all alone with animatronics, that was another creep factor of fnaf 1. Like, Vanessa doesn't seem that busy as a cop Edit: here's a smart thing user flarestriker6870 wrote when he saw my ideas "Like that idea where the animatronics are shown as smart and not fall for the same things again. Also noticed that when Bonnie and Chica were blocking the vent to place The Cupcake in the vent while the thieves were inside the pizzeria, I'm guessing they learned that the Previous Nightguard tried to escape using the vent one time(Foxy still caught him though) and wanted to prevent it from happening again." Main & credits themes of movie are bangers Anyways, i quit fnaf & came back long time ago. I enjoyed the movie & realised that most of official fnaf games just weren't good. Anyways, it's too long to explain. In short, i was a fan of One Night at Flumpty's, then i quit & returned when third game came out... and i'll never stop being a fan of onaf trilogy I guess that i'll never outgrow onaf in a good way. I always adored it over other fnaf stuff, i dislike fnac & i prly like onaf more than i did as a kid Anyways it was special for me. It is now & it works as a trilogy

fnaf should reboot. Just keep the basic 4 animatronics. It got so far in the timeline it cannot be an office based game anymore. Fnaf aunt even fnaf. We havent got a night based game since fnaf 7. We just have crappy mobile games and sb which isnt even an horror game

current FNaF is in a broken state in my opinion and has been ever since FNaF SL because Scott felt like he HAD to fix FNaF 3 and 4 when FNaF 4 could’ve and should’ve been the last attempt to fix what he felt was broken… everything else after has just been too focused on William Afton… however I think the best way they could use the guy was to make a prequel game based on Fredbear’s… especially since we barely know much about it we don’t know how the place was we don’t know if there were murders there (the theories implying there were murders only makes things more confusing) as well as a whole plethora of questions… Fredbear’s could be something that FNaF has needed during this broken state and could be a perfect way to end the games like FNaF 4 was going to… the true final chapter to the games… no sci-fi crap no convoluted and poorly done mysteries and actual true horror

@@jerichode the fan made version that just very recently dropped is actually really good imo. The only thing I dont like is Phone Guy. Idk if they used ai or just got a voice actor who hardly speaks English or something but he sounds constantly wasted and it completely ruins the immersion for the short time the phone calls last. I would still really really love to see the official game release and want to support it as much as I can with my wallet. I personally dont think Phisnom did much wrong, the kid messed with the bull and got the horns, thats just how it works on the internet. Phil couldve handled it better but it sure as hell was not something so bad it shouldve warranted the game's cancellation or anything. Super tragic

all of these videos of complains are the exact same, yes i watched this all. i just cant believe anyone who complains about it is More of a fnaf fan Than they are of a horror movie fan.... i mean if you watch horror movies every month thats cool but ive never done that. all of this video is clear that he has barely or never played any of the games or watched any theory videos, he just was simply never interested in the creators ideas and the communities ideas, im content with that, and if you say you are or extremely were, you just really love watching horror movies and i cant argue on that. i could say more to show that and yes i am a child rambling and i know it really doesnt matter, but who is this video out to..? if this is a channel completely reviewing halloween christmas horror movies and IT and such im sorry that and that makes a lot more sense

I was also a massive fan of this franchise and feel the exact same way. I loved it until they brought Abby to the pizzeria. It just felt kinda empty towards the end. I was expecting so much more and understood it wasn’t going to be exactly like the games. The fact that I played it on peacock for 3 nights in a row before I went to bed says something. This movie isn’t scary at all, and I don’t do horror movies well. The fact that balloon boy had the most, and most effective jumpscares is a problem.
