Shadow Striker is more like a CAM in a 433(4) or a 41212 who plays right behind the striker/s. In simpler terms, a CAM with a High Medium work rate who plays more attack and little defense.

In football manager, a shadow striker is n attacking midfielder that uses his off the ball movement to appear behind the defense, in finishing areas. Instead of looking to be the playmaker, the shadow striker looks to attack the spaces. It works really well with a false 9. In this case, the false 9 comes deep to get the ball, which can drag defenders which leaves space behind, that the shadow striker than tries to exploit

This new role thing is actually like the old chem system . Imagine having a system in place then covering it up for a few seasons without changing the net code . Then fc25 rebrand it and make it a new feature

shadow striker is a CAM playing striker position. Look how Charlton and Kaka played. Kaka was basically a deep lying striker and often initiated attacks from the midfield. False 9 and this shit is the same, but for different positions. False 9 for ST, shadow striker for CAM.

JFC, I am running out horrible Minnesota Sports moments to bring up off the top of my head... The Lynx are actually good with a long shot MVP candidate.
