I've been playing Stardew valley for 2 years and it has changed me. Days spent playing this game with friends was just something else. I have long forgotten about games like minecraft, fortnite, and others. Instead I have taken a step back from gaming and the internet in general and focused on other things. Stardew has really brought me back into the video game industry

This is such a great video! From the scripting to the editing, it was genuinely such a well done video! Honestly didn't even realize you weren't a huge channel, you certainly deserve more recognition! Keep up the great work, best of luck to your channel! I think I've kinda been in fight or flight mode with every aspect of my life for so many years that having that carry over to play games just seemed so natural; I honestly never realized how much I can't just slow down and enjoy these little moments and quiet games. It felt so nice to just boot up my old vanilla minecraft and just take time to explore. Take the time to really see the world and enjoy it instead of rushing for the most efficient farms and late game gear. Hopefully I can keep with this world for more than the usual week or two haha. Thank you for sharing this, you've definetly opened my eyes to a better way of enjoying the things I miss enjoying the most!

I've been playing almost nothing but Cookie clicker for almost 8 days now. On 2 of those days my friends got me to play stuff like For honor and Stellaris. This has led me to realise that despite having fun talking to them while playing, the actual experience of playing fast paced games just isn't that fun for me anymore. I much prefer just sitting there watching my cookie count go up. It does get really boring sometimes but I feel so good every reset, getting to watch the effects of my previous effort raise my early game production into hilarious speeds. If by some miracle you haven't played cookie clicker (actually played it, not just loaded up a few times to pass time) I would highly recommend it. It's just relaxing to click and wait and repeat, when you get bored just reset with bonuses to production. Basically, old games like cookie clicker are so much better than newer, more fast paced and demanding games because they're not built around grabbing your attention with every small detail. Plus, good luck getting raged at an idle game unless you somehow delete your save.

This. This is what I want. Just to play a game with friends, with these small quiet moments where we can just...relax. it's hard to find time and people to do that with, but by God is it worth it. I just hope I can keep this mindset for the rest of the year. It's so important to just let go and enjoy yourself, and that's something really hard for me. Maybe I'll go looking for some of the games like Stardew Valley that I've got in my wishlist, that'd be nice
