Obvious you dont have any experience apart from watching UFC. It seems like an excuse, but some days you really arent it. Ive had days where I felt like I could become a pro, quick to predict and react, fighting with a really high fight IQ. Then there were days I walked in there and my head was somewhere else no matter how hard I tried to make the other me come out. Slow, nearly every punch catches me. Fighting like a retard who just sees someone and wants to punch them. Still have no idea what happened on those days, but the difference between your best, your average and your worst is huuuge.

He didn't look 100% like the usual Volk, he wasn't capitalising and making Ilia pay whenever he missed or was out of place, because he was concerned about getting clipped. If you go back and watch, you can clearly see he is fighting not to get knocked out. He still looked great but definitely not his usual self.

The game plan from volk & his team was awful. I love Volk but they gotta be idiots to think that tactic he was using for "defense" would work against someone like Ilia? You'd think they'd plan for this? He was better off crashing into Ilia, getting into the clinch, making it dirty with wrestling & clinch fighting. Not giving him space to land the cleanest shots. He stayed at a range where Ilia could land shots if he threw combo's. Then with volk doing that tilt his head back, lean away while backing up technique without raising his guard?
