I got my pre-orders in from reputable stores. I've been in this hobby maybe 3 yrs now, and the demand for this set is just crazy. I just can't believe the amount of people buying pre-orders of someone else's pre-orders of someone else's pre-orders at absurd prices.

I saw on ebay multiple sales of Pokemon Center ETBs for $750... it cost 59.99 on the Pokemon Center. I will say that this set is probably going to be my first set I keep sealed.

The only reputable store you're going to find is Huge big box stores. Walmart, Target. You trust little shit stores you're going to get fleeced for chump change.

Tbh, the IRs n SIRs are great n all, but I think the biggest selling point is the Masterball holos… it makes chasing the set that much more enjoyable knowing you can get more out of a pack than just the rarest arts, and I am here for it 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Yeah I ordered from Walmart site @ $55 an ETB ( not bad price) . About a week later my orders got canceled. It’s crazy.

Yeah I haven't done any pre orders yet. Got my allocation numbers in, just didn't want to do it before knowing. Like you said, people locally here have already been canceling, it's crazy!

what I've done I pre-order without paying from multiple stores plus Pokemon center. Best case I buy them all ,worst case I got from at least one shop. Happy days:)

Same in the UK 😭 I had 15 etbs and 24 mini tins pre-ordered from a big box store (i knew i'd never get them, just tried my luck) and all of it got cancelled. The only things i'm still probably getting of my pre orders are 2 PC etbs, 1 etb, 1 surprise collection, 1 binder, 5 mini tins and 5 of each poster and sticker.

My buddy here in Hawaii. Is getting 25 cases of prismatic etbs. Yes from 2 distros 10&15 he too was like it's crazy how allocated this set is. Keep up the content 🔥

UK sounds like it was a lot easier to get pre orders thankfully. I always tend to stick to the same stores as most of the time here the big box retailers heavily sell pre orders before even knowing numbers

Based on the current hype around this set, I don't understand why the Pokemon company doesn't just boost up the production. I've had a terrible time finding Surging Sparks and I had really hoped to buy certain Surging Sparks products for my 8 year old son for Christmas. The limited print run doesn't make much sense. I get that they don't want to over print product, but if it's clearly going to be popular, why not make more. Am I missing something?

Thankfully walmart canada doesnt do preorders so if you show up on release day youll likely get product. They also limit purchases to 2 per person.

The limit of 2 is kinda annoying for people like me who want to put q bunchnof sealed away in the PC, but I just took a vacation day on Jan 17 and ill hit a few different Walmarts to get what I want.
