God bless you Roland, you've brought so much joy into my life and I didn't even realize it at the time, I was simply interested in fishing and didn't know where to start....I (and I'm sure others can attest as well), but I have learned a great deal from your videos. Thank you and god bless your family Roland! Cheers from California!

Loving the videos! I have used a lot of good tips from you Roland and I am tearing the bass up here in eastern NC. Devils horse and broke back Rebel have been my go-to lures!

Top water is awesome!! You can't beat the thrill of watching a fish attacking your lure! Caught my first frog fish two weeks ago, man that bass was hungry, he destroyed my frog!!! Thanks for your videos Mr Roland, always something new to learn.

Been catching top water for a few weeks here in East Texas. Literally my favorite time of the year! I have not idea how y'all living in the North do it waiting so long.

In my little corner of zone 16 the bass ponds have had a lot of parked cars recently. Corona has made people think the mnr doesn't have time for them.

I caught fish on the devils horse all day sunday. They were tearing it up in the middle where it was 10 to 15 ft deep and there wasnt a cloud in the sky. The sun was out and it was 90 degrees. The devils horse is the deal everyone. Oh and I live in Lakeland FL.

Excellent video Roland, and you’re not kidding.. not only is it topwater time for lunker bass... it’s topwater time in the saltwater as well... I had two clients today guy and his son they threw topwater first three hours this mornin the son lost a 35” snook... but on Friday I landed my personal best snook she was 44 inches long probably 30lbs... she ate a hog leg mullet on the surface, 20 minutes before I was throwing topwater for the big girls and they just wouldn’t come up.. glad I put that mullet out... Great video Roland keep putting them up buddy love seeing you catch these hawgs

I was using a topwater and went for the hit but put too much into it and ended up pushing out a bit of poop. Pretty uncomfortable days fishing but at least I was the only one in the boat.

Roland. At 1:36 there was a huge fish feeding ahead of you. O man! That looked big. Unless it was a gator

I know that you talk all the time about have more rods because you need different line as conditions change. some of the modern casting reels have quick change spools. You can buy extra spools set up with different line. Drop the side plate and pop in a reel with different line and bingo...very efficient....Would love to hear your thoughts. Not crazy about your "memory lane" stuff as I remember them too. Used to fish pro tournaments going no boat just to learn but one blast off start on the Savannah River in fog so thick I could not see the trolling motor from the seat and chine walking at prob 60mph...cured me. I have a home now in The Villages near Ocala and chomping at the bit to come fish. Be well!

Question, Will smallmouth bass in New Hampshire bite a Devil's Horse?
@heotechniques50654 жыл бұрын
Is there not fishing seasons in the states? Here in Ontario Canada bass is closed from November till third Saturday in June. The idea is to not catch the fish so the nest is always protected.

Not complaining just a suggestion. If your camera man focused on where your lure landed. He could record the strike.
