It's Tray Day Pt 5 - Walker and Hall Sheffield Pierced Gallery Tray

I found a really cool tray this time, but it's a bit worn down! Boo!
It's made by a really well-known and high end Sheffield maker though, so yay!
And then I rant a little bit about the antiques market and silver and silver plate in general. The market looks ugly. Boo!
I hope you all enjoyed Tray Day as much as I did! Yay!

Hopefully this is helpful as I know that you sell these online. The edge of the tray is not reticulated. It is what is referred to as a pierced gallery. Very attractive trey!

I guess the size makes it a gallery tray as opposed to a vanity huh.

@@gmgssilverplate the term gallery refers to the accrual edge not really about its size. There are differs trays such as vanity, salver, waiter, tea tray, high chair tray, butler's tray...etc. I hope this helps a little!😁
