That's why they contract the security in, not their job to to train them. They tell the security company what they want from security, so they don't have to pay the security guy on the gate, nor holiday pay etc, works out cheaper apparently? Same principal as company using agency workers. Can get rid when required, and no administration to worry about.

Why do so many security guards have no idea about public photography. I know that it's not an actual course you have to sit to learn about public photography. It's a simply "If it's being photographed or filmed from a public space then it's legal". I'm in Australia and even I know that about UK Law.
