I’ve been around since Geoff started his solo channel and this is still my favorite song and video that he’s done. I love the original and Geoff put such a fantastic R&B/soul vibe on it! He utilizes so much natural, breathy chest voice throughout the arrangement; it feels like a warm hug. This is also one of the few videos of his that shows off his emotional acting talent, plus the cinematography of the video itself is gorgeous.

Very romantic and interesting version of a VERY repetitive song - so his arrangement here was lovely... people use to joke and say that is what Geoff sings when Kathy goes out to do shopping - haha. This is the video that introduced me to Geoff 2⅐ years ago. Then 2 weeks later I found out he was bass for Voiceplay. Dragonborn Comes was my introduction to them. A month after that I found out Layne is co-owner with former member Tony Wakim of Pattycake Productions where Geoff and Voiceplay film most of their videos. Villains Haunted Mansion was my introduction to them I joined all of their Patreons. They have been a joy in my life since.

Thanks for your reaction! I never liked the original version of this song as it was too boring and repetitive but Geoff's version is a beautiful upgrade. Geoff recently released his Christmas cover of "Carol Of The Bells" and it is blowing reactors away (already has more than 700 thousand views since it was released). Must see!

I absolutely love Geoff.. and this song. But also? We must remember that there is a ton of editing, mixing and electronic blending of both video and audio takes that resulted in this video. (There ARE four of him..) He didn't actually slide here from up high all the way down low. But it was super as always! And YES, I have seen him actually slide from high to way sub harmonic in live clips.

This one I've enjoyed for a long time. Want to get Geoff's Carol of the Bells - like you've never heard it before. Then VoicePlay does a Louis Armstrong song from 1953 with J None that managed to convince the late great Satchmo to loan him some of that scatting. It's amazing.

Geoff has a way of taking a song that wasn't sung right the first time and just making the tone match the lyrics. I hated the original and was nervous about this one. But now it's one of my faves
