Since he often talks about the more "off camera" aspect of making a film, Raeen may be interested to learn that sometimes the Actor is the main and sometimes ONLY reason it's getting "greenlit" made in the first place. The direct becomes merely staff to be hired or fired to make sure the (in this case) Jim Carrey "vehicle" (as it is known in the west when such a film is made purely for the gain of one actor) Not to say these are always bad movies or anything close to it. Liar Liar is one of my favourite Carrey of his entire body of work. Gives us a slightly more mature, living in a realish (less cartoonish) world version of Jim and what that would resemble

Or taking this a bit further. These types of movies are written with the actor in mind. Just like with Arnold Schwarzenegger or Bruce Willis. The writers sit down and imagine a situation their personality would shine. So for Jim Carrey it's always some guy with a hilarious compulsive curse. Arnold Schwarzenegger in hilarious 'fish out of water' action. And Bruce Willis in tense conflict negotiations.

Welcome Back!! Loved the reaction! On the subject of Jim Carrey, he also made a movie called "Bruce Almighty", where he plays the role of a common man gifted the powers of God by God himself. It is a comedy, but at the same time, a wonderful lesson in humanity and humility, and I would love to see the boys react to it.
