The car for me is the Vauxhall Cresta estate. I worked at a Vauxhall/Bedford garage when I left school in 1967, so I do have a soft spot for them.

You know you are old when you can remember Ford Corsairs were parked on every street. Fiat 127..... best one to go for was the 127 Palio or the 127 Sport. I used to sell Fiat in the 80s and my favourite was the Fiat 131 Mirafiori Sport which used to go like stink have a twin cam engine . Most were in orange although you could get a gunmetal coloured one available with red crushed velvet interior. Stealth car.

I had a Mirafiori Sport and two Super Mirafioris back in the 80's, unfortunately they had major tin worm problems, brilliant fun cars though.

Guy you gave out that the SEAT brand is disappearing. That is not the case. Cupra is the sporting arm of SEAT nothing more. SEAT are not going to disappear. Please check such things first.

Amazing how much differently the English value cars than Australians. As an example Toyota has by far the best resale value
