This is a big job to tackle but it has to get done. Once this is finished I'll be one step closer to the completed skinning shack. It's coming together quite well so far. God bless.

Incredible work, it looks great, I'm sure it will be a great place to work. I don't comment much, but I do watch your videos and like them. But today I was encouraged by what you said, that you would like to live there away from society. It's the same for me, every day I get away from it all and look for nature and solitude. This society and its thinking do not represent me. I wish I could live in such a place, it would be my dream. For now I'm moving on, but God will say if I will be able to live in the bush one day like you. Greetings from Spain.

4:45 What nice spring handles on that fireplace. Reminds me of the handles on Finex cast iron, not that I could afford Finex.

Since I have just come upon your channel recently, I am just seeing this. My cabin in the woods in Ohio, USA is my happy place. I understand exactly what you mean.

That's a nice size building. Wish that my building was about that size. You could put 2 of your building inside of mine. Plus mine is hard to heat. But I'll fill up the air holes when I can get time

I love your videos. I’m 68 yrs young, and if you ask me what I want to do when I grow up. It’s live in the woods.

An ongoing project for sure, one that has to be done from time to time so as to keep up with the clutter. Good job, enjoy that stove when the cold shows up.

Things are coming along very nicely. I hear you about that Styrofoam. Pink or blue board isn't as bad as the BB type though. A little helpful hint on the broom. When storing it, store it so the handle is down and the bristles are up. That way you don't get the curled bristles. Keep at it and trapping season will be here before you know it.

Thanks for the tip! Trapping season can't get here soon enough.

If you reshingle the roof to make access for the wood stove, it would be a good time to build a lean-to off the side of the shed. Good place to store some of your trap boxes and/or items that can tolerate the outdoors

Your yard was looking like my neighbor's yard does all year... but that's an Alaska thing. I think we shared the same dream as kids of living out in the woods... I guess that's how I ended up here in Alaska. We share the same hatred for styrofoam too. I don't even like to find it in my mail... Shed looks real good, should be a great skinning shack. It'll be fun to watch it evolve. Peace to you,

Well your wool pants sewing video motivated me to hand sew the hem on a pair of hiking pants that I had been putting off taking to the tailor. The back-stitches turned out good enough and I'm thrilled to have them done. Now I am motivated to clean up my tool shed! Nice job on your shed. It looked so much larger empty and it looks so nice with everything stowed neatly. I have a small cabin about that size with a much smaller woodstove, but the temps in the PNW are not nearly as low as Alberta in the winter. My son lived in it for over a year with his GF and a few refugees from the rat race have stayed there over the years.

There are fewer things better than cleaning and purging a space like that. I hope that styrofoam soon goes the way of the dinosaur. It has great insulation value but it doesn't break down and cannot be recycled efficiently.

Nice job getting rid of the Styrofoam. Just toss it out and maybe the bear will finish eating it. I hate the stuff. Getting to where I can barely tolerate plastic anymore. The shed is looking great. Nice work!
