I also liked the Red Human color the most since the third (ish) human campaign in Warcraft 2 where the Island is under attack and you have to rescue them with Transport ship. I tried to keep all the red Humans alive until the end of the mission :D Colors in Wc2 were really saturated i liked it a lot

Orc still need a proper tier 3 unit that makes it worth tech-ing up to get it. Like UD tech to tier 3 almost solely for the Orb of Corruption, Human tech to tier 3 for their knights or gryphons, NE needed their bears.

@@dark3031 This is why I said that making Taurens T2 isn't the best solution to the problem. I think the fix to the problem with Orc's not having a frontline. Is to buff Grunt's Brute Strength upgrade and possibly reduce their Food/Gold cost. Alternatively, Blizzard could keep Taurens at T2 and instead give Grunts a T3 upgrade. (Making Grunts the T3 boys). But then they would probably need to nerf Taurens. Or you can buff Raider's HP by giving them an upgrade that increases their HP/Armor. (You might need to nerf the CD on their Ensane ability if you do this though).

Another advantage of Grunts over Taurens: Grunts can get Pillage. I think that Polymorph on heroes is too powerful, given how many of those you can get (including Grubby's point about Polymorph compared to Cyclone), but what I would like to see to make Polymorph more useful than it is in the current regular balance rules would be to reduce both the cost and duration for using it on the units it can already be used on, so that it is more like Level 1 Hex.

Yeah the poly change is a bit over the top recently nerfed to 1.5 sec which is like... why even have it? May as well buff slow with mastery training so it effects heroes a bit longer or something.

@@BooperSchmooper Even at 1.5 seconds on heroes, it is like level 0.75 Hex, except that you can have a whole bunch of 2 Food units to do it instead of just 1 Shadow Hunter. The duration isn't very long, but it still can interrupt anything channeling, and can impede escape or other positioning (and as noted above can be chained out if you need to do something like deny a critical Death Coil). It wouldn't be as much of a problem if it was on a >=5 Food unit.

if you have enough sorceresses you can maybe almost get all enemy heros permanently hexed during a fight. Idk it might be a little too strong. Then you get dispelled (wisps, dryads, priests, spirit walkers, destroyers etc.) and just wasted 1200+ mana and an expensive t3 upgrade for nothing. It's the same reason that the upgrade is not good atm even though it takes one unit completely out of the game. Not saying that hexing heros is bad and it might even be potentially broken but I am pretty sure that this will be more a support niche thing that a full-blown strategy using mass sorcs.

Ok what if the Tauren Totem itself did something, a minor aura only on Tauren, and it can be extended with more Tauren on the field (spirits too). So Tauren become much better for defensive use, while grunts are more specialized to aggressive use because of their Pillage.

I think Tauren should stay tier 3, but gain a minor auto dash ability like Zealots in Star Craft 2. My suggestions for specifics: - Autocast toggle - Duration 3 seconds - Cooldown 35 seconds - Main effect of +50% movement speed - Side effect of while active the first hit they land against a target has guaranteed Pulverize activation, but ends the speed boost effect - Negative 1 must target enemy unit - Negative 2 lose control of moving them on your own while they charge (makes it so it only works chasing like a bull's charge)

It's an exploit to enemy AI. Luring out the creeps from their starting point so that they won't use their abilities. Two of those creeps can cast purge that deals huge damage to summons.

I always thought Orc needed their Brute Strength Grunt Upgrade buffed. And/or they needed a T2 upgrade for Raiders, (similiar to Brute Strength). And/or they needed a T3 upgrade for Grunts/Raiders. Just allowing Taurens to be built at T2 is also a way to try and fix Orc balance, I guess.
