They could have ended it with Sidney marrying Charlotte and then having to leave for the W. Indies for Georgiana. That would have allowed Theo to quit and the story to continue for Charlotte. But heck I am not a screenwriter just someone with an idea which I think would have made fans a lot happier.

@@anniecole9154 I wonder if they suggested it but Theo was done and on to his next project. How it Ends for Netflix. Time Travelers Wife for HBO. Just finished watching the finale. Saw ALL of Theo in many many scenes. I do mean All. He travels completely naked. Preferred only seeing him once in Sanditon coming out of the water. LOL.
