@@JamesTravis Thank you, no luck today. I was prepared as I could be, but had confusion with locating the test centre so had a rush and panic when realising we were at the old centre where the maps sent us! Meaning I wasn't in the right headspace and made silly mistakes due to lack of focus. However the experience has helped me know what to expect and I will be even more confident when I eventually get another test. Thank you again for your videos!

Best advice I can give is relax and try not to be nervous. I've done 3 driving tests, Car, Bus and articulated Lorry I got 7 minors on my car test, 9 on my bus and 0 on articulated lorry test. Guess which test I was the least nervous on. Take your time, be calm and be confident when you get nervous you become irrational which leads to poor decision making that can cause problems on test.

@@JamesTravis I have driving test this coming january 7 2025 . I"ve already have license internationaly for 5 years and I drive here in uk with it with my own car for 2 months. I got my provisional & passed the theory test. My question is Do I have to bring a instructor or someone has uk license with me if I use to bring my own car? Do the examiner ask for it or not?

I failed mine on the 10th and it broke me, it broke me more knowing the guy had the nerve to call me a really good safe driver. But failed me for going slow/ slow progress. I later found out other students of my instructor only got minors for this.

Think positive. If the examiner has said you are a good driver, then you are. I know it might feel like they are rubbing salt in the wounds. But I would not worry about what faults other students have and just keep working on improving and passing the next test. Good luck when that day comes.

Exactly thing happened to back in July, told me I'm a really good safe driver but failed me on something my instructor thought should have been a minor, I also felt broke, had another test in Oct and messed up in the last 5 mins, I think the pressure got to me too much, I've now got to wait till April unless I can get an earlier one 😔

My driving test is next Tuesday. I know I can drive but I have autism and struggle with anxiety. So even though I know I technically can I don’t expect to pass. Guess we’ll see.

Happy new year to you James. Just to add to the video. Make sure the you are using has a valid mot if applicable. The examiner can now check the MOT status of the car being used for test and if the MOT has expired the car will be refused.
