IT Security Certifications: CySA+ vs PenTest+ vs CISSP

Maybe it's my resume, but I've been out of work for a year. I snagged the CISSP and PenTest+ this year and it was hasn't done much for my prospects. I also got a PMP, a CCNA, some Python, some Azure, some Palo.. I can't buy a bucket. I guess we'll just keep griding.

It's also the end of the year yet subject to the talent pool and jobs in your specific market. If you are looking for government jobs, some may start to appear at the beginning of the cycle...note I did not say year.

CISSP is really good to get if you do contract security work. I know my employer looks for that when looking for extra help with security from contracted companies.
