Beautiful Vizag should have become the San Francisco bay area of India if our politicians developed the city.... Every CM and politician since 1990's has only used Vizag and in return has not provided anything..... If they had put in half the effort in developing Vizag as they did in Hyderabad... Vizag would have been in top 5 or 6 th largest metro and GDP by now. (We could have been bigger than Pune or Surat and slightly smaller than Hyd). Its sad to see that we're stuck in 10th position for last 20 years.

@thesamedison Visakhapatnam is India's Reo de Janeiro. Visakhapatnam looks naturally like Brazil's most beautiful city Reo de Janeiro or Reo. So, govt of AP should develop this city like Reo.

Yea, what you said is correct even the same comment was true to Hyderabad when compared to Banglore in 2000, but it is crossing. The same would repeat to Hyderabad from Vizag very soon, It had all modes of Transport International Airport International Seaport National Railways with Railway Zone Good Roadways Hyderabad can never have even that 0.5% of sea port but Vizag can grow to 10% in IT exports Every city has its own advantages and disadvantages
