In this weeks video we try to fit front mudguards to the 6265 but its not as straight forward as I thought. Also a few boxes of parts arrive for the 1200, so we see....whats inside the box???

I ended taking off the mudguards off my 4345. Kept interfering with the loader brackets. I’ve thought about adapting the newer swivel type.
@FlyingFergyMan7 ай бұрын
Mine do touch the loader bracket but I think we can get away with it..just. Good idea adapting the swivel type.😉

@@FlyingFergyMan The original ones worked OK on the flat, but when front axle was at full extension they occupied the same space😎

Same old thing...things always surprise you by being more work that expected... myself i have 2 same dorado tractors and they have spring loaded mudguard supports that swivel ... they are more compact tractors than your massey so probably need to be that way.... only mentioned it as i see same tractor breakers advertise on done deal in ireland and wonder if need be if you could pick up a set of a breaker tractor and make yours into swivel types if clearances were an issue....anyway good video ...keep up the good work ..👍
@FlyingFergyMan7 ай бұрын
Thanks Alan. That’s actually a very good idea and one we might have to adopt as I’m not sure of the clearance when the axel is nit on level ground.😮

Hi cathal a lot of work in getting them to fit, what were brackets off originally, nice job now, well done

Where is the brackets on the top of the loader frame
@FlyingFergyMan7 ай бұрын
Im not sure I understand what you are asking me? Sorry🤷♂️
@GordonMacritchie7 ай бұрын
Top of the loader frame there is a bar on each side. Connects front of loader to back of loader frame. You can see the holes for it
@FlyingFergyMan7 ай бұрын
Ok got you now Gordon: there is a frame that runs up each side of the tractor with two vertical pillars that you can see either side of the cab . The loader is fitted to that with pins. I’m nit sure what then holes you see are for but the main structural frame of the loader is there with the loader attached to it. I hope I explained that ok?😊
