When I moved out of my mom’s house, my childhood trauma hit me SO HARD that I thought I lost my mind. I was in a DEEP depression for two years. I am just now getting out of that and making the steps to move forward with my life. I forgive both of my parents wholeheartedly. I am no longer a victim, but a victor, a overcomer. I accept my new identity in Christ. I am destined for greatness.

This. Is. Good. Jerry. God uncovered my dark room on 10/10 early in the morning around 2-3am...I wailed like I never cried before in my life and lost my breath at times. God is doing something here yall. Whatever God is trying to bring up out of you, let Him. He will expose your wounds and provide the comfort you need to start your healing process through His WORD. You have to speak God's word over your emotional wounds. If you struggle with feeling unloved read God's word over and over that He loves you etc.

Definitely wish I knew this when I was younger. I didn't know how much childhood trauma I actually have. Physical child abuse and rejection have plagued my life even as a Christian, BUT today I give it up to You Lord Jesus 🙏 Please heal me of All trauma so that I can live!!! This word is for me! The comment about the single mothers hit me so hard. I'm a single mother of two beautiful children and I was so frustrated that my daughters father(my ex husband) never wanted her(yes he told me in our marriage....smh. I divorced his behind shortly after). He has since got married again and continues to not support her financially emotionally or mentally. There were times I couldn't stand the sight of him. God had to heal me from the inside out(it took a long time.... 5 years to be exact). I healed and focused on being the best mother ever. I STAYED and my life has been so blessed. I have comfort in knowing that he will pay for not being there for my daughter. The Bible speaks about people who do not take care of their children and I feel so sorry for him. Single mother's continue to keep keeping on. We got this!! Trust God.

When I was a child, I was the only person in my immediate family seeking GOD. I read my Bible everyday and took it with me to school. Oh, I felt the presence of GOD. I talked to HIM as if HE was in the room with me. Then, one day while I was reading the Bible. I remembered that I was abused. Immediately, I turned away from GOD, and blamed HIM for the abuse. In my teenage years via early adulthood I spoke weed, drank alcohol, and I was promiscuous. As I looked back over my life every thing that was mentioned in the sermon was true. It was as if GOD was speaking to my spirit. My parents didn’t protect me when I was abused. They swept the incident under the rug. When I became an adult I spoke about it. At first, my mom said she didn’t remember, then she denied it happened. Five years ago, I picked up my mom from her house to take her out for her birthday. I noticed on her coffee table a picture of her and the man who abuse me. At this moment, I can’t hold a conversation with her or visit her. How can I heal when she is constantly throwing up in my face?
