The thing is with her relic, the argument that freezing one unit then ulting to be certain to kill one unit at the cost of loosing some damage on the others is likely invalid since in that case u would just ult then freeze. A low health character that’s frozen is better than killing a unit in most scenarios, and guaranteeing the kill is very risky. It is possible to use her relic a little against like festarossa if u absolutely want the darkness to go away, or against Excalibur Arthur so his relic doesn’t proc but that’s a big brain risky move that might come up one game in 100. Maybe if they release a unit that’s immune at the start of each turn or something the relic would have a little meaning but basically it’s just a little stats and cc as we thought. The cosmetics are probably even stronger than her relic xD

They should have made given her a 30% chance to freeze on her AOE with her holy relic. Something useful. Not OP but useful. I think they were scared that if they made it too good people wouldn't spend on the new units. It's the only possible conclusion I have for this dumb relic.

It might have been what u meant but just in case I’m putting this out there. But it’s too late now anyways and Emilia is still a very good character

The relic could be useful when you know for sure that Emilia ultimate won't kill that 100% more damage could be useful I have been in pvp maches where Emilia ultimate didn't kill because of the other players characters lowering Emilia stats and her lowering her ultimate damage I even have Emilia 6/6 so the relic can be useful in the right time

Maybe an unpopular opinion but I'm pretty sure that the goal of this relic is to use red tarmiel on emilia with Diane so you can't die then you ult rush and no freaking teams can os your emilia with a fest Diane or a green Diane with relic, so if they attack you twice they get frozen and you can one shot them, if they don't, you still ult + freeze them, maybe not the greatest relic but I think we can do sth if we use it in good teams

well it does give options when ulting. do you want 20% more aoe damage or do you want to make sure at least 1 unit dies with 100% more damage (minus 1 card so 80%?)

The relic is horrible, but you can use her on a freeze team with 2 or 3 freeze units, maybe with red gowther for the attack seal and the rank up. Is it toxic? Absolutely. Is it viable? If you go first then the enemy can do abolutely nothing with so many freeze and atack seals.

Her relic really only works with red merlin and her freeze You could use other freeze units but Merlin is the only unknown one and it really only works for her ult since the damage she does with the dissolve card is pitiful

Try her with units that can freeze, like jericho and merlin. Merlin lv2 freeze cause target to take 80% more dmg from the next hit so this should be interesting i guess
