only 2 years, its taken me 5 in Australia and I got 3, the biggest of which was a 22cm rainbow, but the other day I spotted a few browns that where about 40-60 cm, but they didn't want to bite, such picky fish

That birch juice takes me back to my childhood, i remember my grandma was gathering the juice each year and it was great. I'm from poland and it's funny to see something like this appear in other countries as well.

Nice trout Norling! I went kayak fishing today and it didn't go to plan I blanked and my paddle broke in half. On the positive side I think I got bites from perch on the dropshot, I really want to catch a big one some day. Great video as always Norling!
@NorlingFishing6 ай бұрын
Thanks Jacob! Oh that is unfortunate! Hope you can get your paddle fixed asap. I also went kayak fishing on a local river here and managed to catch 4 or 5 pike in around 1hour. I wasn't even planning to catch much but it was just a shorter video for youtube members to show my appreciation. (the pike were all small) I bet you will get a big perch one day! Keep trying!

Thank you! Commons and gibels are fun to catch! Yes you should also have them in streams/rivers like we do. They are just hard to catch.

We are only allowed to catch trout on a lure or a fly. Float fishing for trout in now allowed anywhere in the whole country.

I agree. Hope it will get more mainstream in the future. Not sure there is much to catch in that river to be honest. It seems really really dead. When is the mayfly "flight season"? I don't fly fish at all so i'm really not aware of it. Is it Second/third week of June?

dont take trouts with ur hands only when they are wet with the river water, otherwise the fish gets a thermoshock and probably dies
@NorlingFishing5 ай бұрын
Yes i am well aware of not touching them without wetting your hands. I also said it in the video. Kind of a survival instinct hit in and freaked out i guess. Editing new video right now and i was more careful there. Still thanks for saying it here maybe someone will read the comment and it will also help them in the future.
