Poor Bandit. She showed her teeth to Stubs to back off so she could get a pet from you. Then he pushed in harder under your hand and you can see her walking off in the background looking dejected. She’s such a good girl being so polite even though she’s the older dog in the pack. ❤

From what I saw, Stubbs was there already, with Packer, enjoying the attention. Bandit came in and Stubbs started to lick her face. She may have gotten annoyed with that, but I didn't see any teeth bared in anger. She is one of the best mannered, older dogs, but mild tempered.

@ Nothing like what you said. She very politely showed her canines on the far side towards him. He didn’t get the message so she left. She was expressing annoyance. I’m a dog trainer and I catch dog body language, even subtle language, better than the average bear. ☺️

@karlasommer5341 Sorry, not sorry. You train them, I've bred them for 54 years. Black labs, yellow labs, bullies, and Frenchies. Its a mute point anyways, they all get along marvelously. Two hands can only give so much attention.

Your initial comment was a characterization of what some perceive as human emotions, it probably has happened more than once in Bandits life. Lucy is the real attention monger, but she doesn't look dejected when she's ushered away. Your comment makes Jason/Danielle look neglectful of the dog/s when it happens when all the dogs pile in looking for attention. Hey Jason, I know you have a ton goin’ on, but you might consider building a mini version of a rocket mass heater for keeping the dogs or even the animals in the barn warm during the winters.
