The problem with all the freedoms the people of the West have grown up with and taken for granted is that our culture has invested in them to such a degree that the people in power believe that those freedoms are natural and so superior that anyone from another culture that doesn't have these freedoms will automatically recognise them as SOOOOO superior and adopt them, this is called arrogance. We we will regret this as our institutions die from the inside out, as we have seen in this debate from the Oxford union. So well done them!?

Phillipson's first act as Minister should have been, and was to many, a huge red flag as to the nature of this new regime. (What they've done since is not covering themselves with glory!) Universities are places of learning, but also places of discovery and therefore, research, exploration and discussion. To prevent any meaningful discussion, especially on topics of the more controversial type, is to deny people their opinions, however misguided they may be (misguided opinions can be amended, where extra, provable information is supplied). The new UK regime is a sinister, covertly-Communist (at least Marxist) mob, who are bent on removing as many rights from the people as they can.
