S3x addiction is such a real issue that NOBODY talks about- it is so desensitized in society and Onlyfans has made it exponentially worse by making it so accessible to kids! If instagram/tik tok/whatever is going to be so blatant in pushing those “influencers” then the age needs to be raised from 13 to 18 as for any p0rn site. People dont realize how early and normalized exposure is so detrimental to a young minds development for future relationships (romantic + unromantic!)
@NickSlater5 ай бұрын
Early exposure and the unique way porn is normalised through social media must be having a significant impact on young, impressionable minds. Sites should absolutely be forced to raise the minimum age and legacy media needs to step up and join the conversation instead of glorifying creators like Anna Paul!

@NickSlater It became worse the moment we made it accessible to women.

Sorry I disagree porn has been around forever! At least Only Fans creators are safer than in remote porn warehouses.
@sbmp8104 ай бұрын
@@rebeccasaltzburg5553 do you realize how many onlyfans creators are actually trafficking victims? It is really no safer, it actually makes abuse that way a lot easier because its being mistaken as ‘safer’ **edit to come back to add: The porn industry at least has regulations (age, health/safety, etc). Onlyfans makes it so much easier for people to get past those regulations (i.e. underaged victims are a massive issue). And its all under the guise of Onlyfans being "empowering and safer" when its truly not
@sadiemakesmesmile9 күн бұрын
you're blaming OnlyFans for ruining kids when they can go on any p0rn site no questions asked as long as they have an internet connection??? Im sorry, OnlyFans is not the problem, the problem was already there long before and you chose not to look

Such an important conversation! Thanks, Nick and Victoria, for raising awareness around this subject. Eye-opening. I had no idea it was a women runned organization, and to be honest I did not really know what only fans was although I had an intutive sense about it. Disturbing, scary, and eye-opening at the same time. Especially enjoyed your take on building self work and self-esteem.

@NickSlater : The 'writing name/text on skin' is not to own, but is used as the ultimate reality check. If with it she proves she is actually real and not some fake sending someone elses pics, and is reachable because she reacts to the request, it gives the men a self-permission to obsess about them. Pretty much all OF girl stalkers started as 'write my name' types. It's pretty sick.

18:36 This 👆🏻 Im keeping this part in my head. How true it is. And it is confirmed for example by Lily Philllips saying herself that she dissociated. Yet she is in denial, believing this is empowering and that it is self love. Most of them are in denial. Im keeping these words in my head, I wish not to forget them... because we are living in a world full of trash now. Keep yourself on the good path... No matter if they laugh at you.

Hi there! I'm a UK based Independent Escort! I've never ventured into only fans as it is Porn in my head and just not my forte. However when she says about "selling your body" there are plenty out there who sleep with men for free. Then they end up pregnant and usually as a Single Mother... I may sell sex but I sure don't sleep about and I've never ever had unsafe sex (working or in personal life). So I think she and maybe others could do with reminding Sex Work is simply just work to a lot of us. And many Sex Workers are able to lead normal lives away from work. It's not always the case no. But women choosing Sex Work aren't always the vulnerable traumatized victims we get made out to be.

These "tips" on how to minimize risk are ridiculous. "When you young teenage girls are drunk in the club, be sure to... blah blah." They'll be DRUNK, so how are they going to remember the "tips" and use good judgment? Parents who shrug and say, " Well, the teens will sneak out anyway, so how can we make them SAFE in a world of adult men, drugs, sexual exploitation... Here's a tip: they aren't safe there, so stop being your kids' buddy and take care of them.

As an Onlyfans creator and Mother of Daughters, I both understand and am puzzled by this. Onlyfans is not a gateway drug. There are many other mainstream apps that target younger audiences directly. Porn and the internet have always been around, and blaming the platform itself overlooks the individual choices involved.
@NickSlater2 ай бұрын
First off, internet porn has only been easily accessible for the past 15-20 years, and we’re already seeing the harm it’s causing to intimacy, relationships, and especially teenage boys. I believe Victoria’s point about gateway activities is that OnlyFans offers a simple entry for young women into sex work, which often leads to other forms of sex work down the line.
