You could mount your vise on a short piece of 2x12 lumber, clamp the 2x12 to your tabletop as you need it.

You can pre-drill your holes with a smaller drill working your way up to the right size. The metal's not that hard or you could get a couple of vice grips of bigger vice grips clamp it down to the bench, but drilling holes in it through that metal won't be that hard. You got enough tools there you could do it

I liked the quick change you did on your nice poop shirt :-) I cut the noodles on the outside of the end plates! No plucking noodles out of the end plat. Plus, if the end plate is aluminum I leave it on to get $1.50 a pound for it. Rather than getting old sheet price :-) We should still get together for a quick round of golf :-)
