It was not supposed to happen... take control of what you can.
Sometimes, in the spiritual Community, we say, "This is just what was supposed to happen!"
Of course, in life, things happen, and we're not in control of everything, but there are things we can control, and if we never take responsibility for the things we can control, we are actively participating in feeding into functional Dynamics or patterns that shouldn't ben happening.
When we take responsibility and make an effort to get better at what we do, to understand why it's so important to develop healthier boundaries, if we never do that and we just keep using that frame "oh,h it was just supposed to happen" as a justification for certain things that happen in this Society, it means that we're never going to get to grow and come out of time dysfunctions, actively proactively.
Not just always going with the flow because to go with the flow also means that you are equipped to navigate through the flow; otherwise, you just bounce from one side to another and it's going to be a bumpy ride as you go with the flow.
