A lot of people associate mental toughness with being able to close it out. It's actually winning multiple times and being in that position again and again for someone to start feeling comfortable under pressure. If Mito keeps playing good and puts himself in that situation over and over again he will win. Just like Phil before he won his first major. People thought Phil was gonna be the best golfer to not have won a major.

This guy has been shot down every stage in his career. Go look it up. He’s been screwed so many times and he finally got his tour card a few months ago. He’s gonna be a great player in the future, and he’ll have another shot. Regardless of the outcome, he gained new fans and impressed everyone!! Hopefully he can win one and bring the trophy back to Texas Tech for his fans to see

That's why Tiger winning all those Majors with the lead, sometimes only a 1 shot or a share of the lead, to start the final round and finishing off 14 in a row in these circumstances is plain and simply astonishing. Mito pulling out driver was not the best move, but it was the move he had done before and it had worked. Anybody that's played the game knows that blocking your driver is a hell of a lot easier to do than blocking a 3W or hybrid. That's what got him there though, and it may be what gets him there again. We know he's got game, does he have that fortitude? I hope so, he's an exciting guy to watch.

It's amazing to me how many people talk from the cheap seats about choking and everything else when they would never possibly be in the position because they've never been that talented in anything in their life and to think that they know how to handle such a situation is ridiculous
