As for the poor who struggle like many of us have should find the will to better their life's even if it's selling sticks. If they were separated after all such money spent, I can imagine people criticising them. But for a couple who's is still going strong, I just wish them happy and healthy life forward. I just feel happy for them. Words of the person at the end who made this video and the people in the comments section who are all advising how to spend such BIG FAT money to rich people sounded arrogant and jealousy to me. Let's say people of middle class family spend $5K on a wedding. Will you tell them to spend $2.5K to charity because they simply can? People who are all talking about how "if they had such money, I would do this that.......", you don't need to be a rich to do that. You can do that from where you are standing financially in a simple manner. If those rich people spending their money on charity, organizations still have alot more to spend for generations, why will not they spend on their lovely one and only daughter's wedding grandly. India has never done any of those but grown its own wealth which is why it was the richest nation on earth for 1000s of years. West loots to become rich and then falls back into nothingness when it cannot loot anymore. We see this in the way that Rome Portugal, Spain etc quickly got gold and quickly ate through it all. Today they are not at all as important. Same for UK which has become 2nd tier in the west in just 50 years post colonisation. By contrast, Japan, Vietnam etc built themselves up after having been devastated. India was the worst case of looting and rapacity but is today a world leader in a mere 8 years of Modi govt. I know a couple invited a few friends and some poor people of their vicinity for their wedding. Just served cake and tea. They were social workers and their house was built and filled by friends donating them different things. Till today nearly 30 years later the couple are so much in love and such beauty in their relationship. They couldn't bear children so adopted a boy and girl and today those kids are doing well in life. In the long run everything will be ok.

In the first 2 minutes of this video, I notice that the father, despite being one of the wealthiest men in the world, is still married to his first wife, and his eyes are kind eyes. I am happy to hear their stories for sure .. but one thing i really need to mention here that they actually own one of India's biggest company which makes a huge opportunity for people and surely such millionaire or billionaire have to have some charitable trust or foundation so they can distribute some as it's very necessary to show them as a Proof for taxation things ... please stop commenting "if they spend money for Poors"... that's absolutely meaningless here as if they already spent for them how do you know..??...and are they spending or not or how they spend their money for wellbeing of needy peoples..we really don't know.. Those who earn a lot spends a lot ..if you earn that much or belong to a family like that you also don't know how you will enjoy your wedding day 🙂...

I understand it's their money, so they can spend it however they want, but still, it's just crazy, given the fact that India has so much poverty, and most people in the world struggle to just get a plate of food... India is not living in poverty it is the western media that portray a bad image on India. If I show only the slum areas of US then a child will definitely believe that US= POVERTY. Am I right?

I agree to the extent that her dad can invest money into different types of factories to give jobs to the poor which would Also bring up India's economy.i don't judge nor confirm him for the wealth to that he achieved on his own GOD bless him but also give with a good heart to those who have less and besides by making more productive factories he's giving his people a chance to have better lives and become more independent. Besides he won't be losing but would be gaining also.

As for me Not on a wedding that huge amount though but I would like my wedding to be grand in every ways possible ❤❤❤ Well the Mittal's are prominent figures of society so it's a kinda must for them to do a huge wedding like this ❤❤❤ All the love for them and respect ❤❤❤ yes if I had that much money most part will go for the less fortunate I would say 80% rest I would spend on our wedding family and friends ❤❤❤
