Dear Lisette, We look forward to catching your Sunday videos. Fall is drawing to a close. Winter is just around the corner. Removing screens and turning rain barrels upside down makes perfect sense. You are prepared for winter with lots of firewood and a warm closed in cabin. Getting the last root vegetables out of your garden is satisfing. Canning and preserving the fruits of your summer garden is indeed deep satisfying. Hanging herbs (sage) is thinking ahead for sure. That chicken paulette looks so good. What a peaceful and cozy feeling comes from this video!! Everything comes so beautifully well together. What a stunni g harvest you had, so much and so well grown!! The different colours of these carrots. That stew looked soooo jummy! So was Miss Snow thinking haha, she really wanted to dig her nose in😂. Ooh the smell of that sage and rosemary!! The sipping of tea: Sitting on the front porch of our old family home I sit and sip a cold glass of sweet ice tea and relive sweet memories of times gone by. I see grandpa still sitting there in his front porch rocker playing a game of checkers with my dad. Grandma keeps asking me if I am hungry and offering me homemade cookies each time. Nothing tasted better than grandma’s homemade cookies and a glass of sweet southern iced tea. The smell of home cooking wafted over the porch and grandpa would say, boy I could eat a cow if you would knock off the horns. Then he would holler at grandma is it ready yet and she would reply no we already ate and you missed it. Everyone would laugh because we knew grandpa never missed a meal in his life. I wish there was a time machine so we could go back and visit those who made my life so wonderful and a joy. I miss them so much. Thank God for sweet memories.

Good Morning Lisette, I'm getting ready for winter too. Your soil there seems very good' grows good vegetables. I have to amend my soil every year, or I don't get much. All the animals are preparing for winter here, I enjoy watching the squirrels sneak into my yard for a walnut. Your crow call works good. Have you taken gourmet cooking classes? You are such a wonderful cook. I'm always looking for new recipes to try. Cooking is so enjoyable. Your seating area looks so cozy. I love that wood stove. I also have a great wood stove, I'm starting to cut firewood today actually. Trees i have let dry for a year or so, their ready to cut up, busy time for me now. I’m lucky with the soil here, although it was difficult when I first started my garden. There were many rocks and roots but I also mixed in some black earth to it. My dear Lisette I agree with you when fall comes we reap what we have sewn. I like you keep extremely busy from the time the snow goes in the spring until late fall. I am so grateful to have my wood stove on cook up a good healthy meal to enjoy along with enjoying the comfort of my wood stove. I love it, it is my reward. I enjoy keeping active doing physical work, I work hard. I must admit the end of the season I am ready for a change to do something different. I had to smile to my self. I made the same thing that you made except I made chicken dumplings, so good. Enjoyed my visit as always the time went by so quickly you are so entertaining relaxing enjoyable to watch. Yes, me too. I am selling my place over on the coast, to a friend of mine and I will split the garlic with them and take half to the cabin and get it planted in the next couple of weeks. I have had a great summer. I brought back many cases of jars all full of canned smoked trout and pike. I caught alot of trout and pike this summer. I pressure can them. 110 minutes at 15 pounds pressure and all the bones disintegrate . yummy.....@@One.woman.wilderness

Good Morning Lisette and that greeting is for the two fur babies. I will watch the video as I now have my coffee in hand. I am half way through this video. You have hardly said a word and you don't have to. The pictures show it all. Well, once in a while something gets written across the screen. Your videos are so relaxing. And a lot of the time you are making some delicious dish and I am eating dry cereal out of a box, I do put milk on it. And your scenery .... so beautiful. I love Fall. Not too much into Winter cause I don't do much outside in the Winter. Actually I get a little nervous in Winter with the driving in the snow .... don't like that any more.
