I've noticed that quite a few people never really watched D Wade play before LeBron went to Miami. Trust me, the big 3 version of Wade was nothing compared to how he he was in his prime.
@pplRretards2 жыл бұрын
Wade's ability to step aside and let another guy come into be the "man" is every bit as impressive as he was during his first title run imo cause honestly he was still in his prime and could've carried a team by himself with another all star like Bosh but Miami didn't have Jack Shit in 09-10 the fact the Heat didn't get swept by the Celtics in the playoffs shows how good Wade was! That Heat team was absolutely horrible and Lebum would've been swept with that 09-10 Heat team by the Celtics! Wade literally had 4 guys that wouldn't have started for probably 24 teams in the NBA with Mario Chalmers, Quenton Richardson, Micheal Beasley and Udonis Haslem smh none of which was even a starter in the NBA for more then 7 seasons in the NBA and none of which averaged more then 12 ppg in their career! Career points, rebounds and assist averaged for those guys was Chalmers 8.9 ppg-2.5 rpg- 3.7 apg, Quentin Richardson averaged 10.3 ppg- 4.3 rpg- 1.4 apg, Micheal Beasley 12.4 ppg-4.7 rpg- 1.3 apg and Haslem 7.5 ppg-6.6 rpg- 0.8 apg lmfao Wade averaged 33.2 ppg, 5.6 rpg, 6.8 apg, 1.6 spg and 1.6 bpg on 54.6% FG and 40.5% 3pt shooting! That just insane that he put up 33.2 ppg on 54.6% FG and 40.5% 3pt shooting while literally being the only threat at all! Boston Veltucs literally only had one guy to defend they could've quadruple teamed Wade and no one else would've scored 20 freaking points rofmfao Lebum only put up 26.8 ppg on 44.7% FG and 26.9% 3pt shooting while having Antwan Jamison, Mo Williams, Anthony Parker, Shaq, Big Z and Anderson Varejo! Cleveland had 3 guys that was in the top 12 in the NBA for 3pt percentage while also having Shaq although old had per 36 averages if 18.5 points, 10.3 rebounds, 2.3 assist and 1.8 blocks with a PER of 17.9 still 😳 you combine Shaq with Big z and Varejo you have a pretty dam good center rotation! Jamison averaged 18.5 ppg and 7.5 rpg over a 16 year career and had 10 seasons in where he averaged 18 points and 7 rebounds game! LeBron would've not only been swept by the Cetics if he switch teams with Wade that season but he would've lost by an average of 10 to 15 points too! Wade is so dam underrated it blows my mind! Was underrated before Lebon and even more so while playing with LeBron!

Love how Wade coached Gil here and loved Gil’s receptivity more. Wade was a little long-winded, basically reapply your approach to your desire--but first know your desire. Gil was saying the same thing, but familiarity (with the game) can be deceptive. Mamba cheat code unlocked.

Damn...D Wade gave Gil the best question of any guest Ive seen... Then he turned it into something else a coachable moment for Gil... Basically saying Gil already has everything that he needs to succeed. After you do it once what do you do now??? You do it again....

To whom it may concern. It was a pleasure and an honor. To listen to Legends of the game of basketball. And talkin about life itself outside of basketball. Two men who have accomplished so much. Inside of the game of the basketball and outside of the game a basketball with family and friends and business. When I listen to the conversation Wendy Wade ask Gilbert. What is your goal in life to be. And he said a coach with kids. When I think about it I believe he has always been that a coach. I say that once he really understood the game of basketball. Then he was able to teach along the way in life. Because I believe your teachings and what you learn and life. All your testimonies to share with other people. That is your energy people gather around for who you are and for what you stand for. So I say to you Gilbert keep on teaching. But never stop learning because once you stop that you died. And life is about learning and sharing and loving people. And also when I listen to the conversation and you said you were not about please when you were playing basketball it was about. You going to the basket scoring everybody else stand back. But no disrespect but you sound just Allen Iverson. When you look at some of his games he was a person about scoring. Taking all the responsibility of being that person being that guy. No matter good or bad. He took all the smoke. So I say to you continue continue to teach. Keep the Kobe Spirit Alive that's what he was all about. Like D-Wade said. What Kobe experience on the basketball court. Now he's putting it towards life. He may not be with us him and his daughter. But his spirit is legacy and what he stood for will still go on the test of time. Thank you good health is good wealth God is everything always remember that

People who says Harden or AI is better than Wade clearly only watches players score. Wade was one of the best defenders in the league in his prime period. This is the guy who is listed at 6"3 but would block your favorite centers anytime he wanted to while giving your team 35-40 pieces at the same time. People really forgot Wade was a walking bucket back then and still an elite defender at the same time. The season that he should have won MVP, dude put up 30ppg (scoring title), 7 rebounds, 8 assists, 2 steals and 1.7 blocks... 1.7 fucking blocks for a 6"3 guard and he played 79 games that year. And i have not seen a guard at 6"3 doing a spin move outside the paint area to split between defenders then follow up with with a 2 hands dunk on a center. This dude was insanely athletic.
