The thing I like with those style of boats (flat bottoms like with a canoe) is that they tend to sit on top of the water, allowing you to get into really shallow water. I’m excited to see the progression of it and how you use it!!

Josh how do you find the lighting now that you've been out with it a few times? I've got the same boat but using a 2.6hp outboard with it. I'm curious how much lighting you are getting with it just in front of the bow in shallow water. I was thinking of building a foldable extension to give the light another foot or so in height so you can angle it down to get a better idea what's in front of the boat while underway and folding it down or removing it when you set up sort of thing.

Been watching your videos for a long time, had to dig deep to find this one. I’m trying to rig up that same light bar on my duck boat, is that 7.5Ah battery sufficient to run that light bar for a hour or 2 or am I better off getting the 18? Love the new rig, looks like you’ve been knocking them down this year. Congrats on the baby as well!!

Interior lighting is amazing on dark mornings. Red works but still hard too see. Green leg strips works great on my big boat

why don’t u keep 2 battery boxes one up front and one in back for whatever cause what if the cord to the lights isn’t long enough as the whatever u need in the back.
