I am at Four Pegs in Louisville, KY and I am going to see if I am able to eat their brunch menu. Owner/Chef Chris has won numerous awards for his food and recently been on Food Network's BBQ Brawl. Happy Belated Amber. Love Monte Cristo's, although my only experience with them was from the now defunct Bennigans chain sports bar/restaurants. They encased it in what would best be described as a funnel cake instead of french toast. But the one you had looked really good. Never thought something with a little powdered sugar, and a strawberry jelly/jam/preserves would make for such an awesome sandwich.

I ate the main dishes but left out the sides of potatoes. They wanted to show the plates as they are served so that is why each plate had a side of potatoes.
