Daniella, I've been going through that. People have been calling me out because I'm taking care more of my health and fitness since my retirement and my parent's death. I am the eldest of 4 and used to be dedicated to my younger siblings, helping my parents, in church ministries, etc, besides being a school principal. It was all self-denial. Now that I've been losing weight under doctor's supervision and taking care of myself, they've been monitoring my every move. I've been labeled as having menopause and being out of God's plan for me because I'm supposed to be dedicated to humanity. 😮 I know God is granting me this season to enjoy my life and also being fit and healthy as I'm still a devout Christian. It's just that I'm not letting them tell me what to do as I'm just listening to God. Jesus is merciful and loves us, unlike people who think their job is to judge and condemn.
