My answer is no. I am not ready. I am as prepared as I can be, but don't want it to happen.....but it is likely..... I accept it like cold weather, cold water, lack of government help, and lack of optimal circumstances - and that's what makes me feel American. Prepared because of past presidencies and a terrible governor in my state of New Mexico. Crime and insurgency is at an all-time high. All we need is some crap to push the pendulum an inch and it's chaos for normal folks. Though we are prepared we still train. Never enough training. People complain about the price of gear and tools, but seriously- it's fitness and planning that can save your arse in a world like this. A fitter human is harder to kill. Have a Merry Christmas and hope you all stay safe, stay positive but train for the worse,,,,, and stay stoked!

Wife and I have been teaching neighbors about gardening, cooking, baking, growing fruit trees, berry bushes and processing food so it lasts. Also growing and processing kitchen, household and medicinal herbs. It isn't easy, but it has to be done. Also introduced a few neighbors to the gun range.

Stoker, I live in Portland, there's two Walmart stores within 5 minutes drive of my house, another two within 10 minutes, and another 15 stores within 20 minutes (if traffic is good), Walmart stores are everywhere in this 2.5M population metro area.
