@@FrozenHero2010ive only read the original stories. I havent seen much of this show so watching this scene seems super off to me since the Holmes from the books would never do this to Watson. The closest example is in Devils Foot but he put himself in as much danger as Watson and gave him the option to leave. And the only time right now I can think of Holmes belittling Watson is when speaking of his writing (usually when hes in a black mood) or in Dying Detective, where he does outright insult Watson’s skills as a doctor but he was also anxious to not allow him to get close to him as he knew Watson would see through his ruse and as soon as Culverton Smith is arrested, he apologizes in his own roundabout way for both the deception and insulting Watson. I keep hearing this show is good but its things like this that keep bothering me and preventing me from watching it as I know Holmes would never act like that

​@@ghostofentity3032right? It's crazy how different BBC Sherlock is to the Sherlock in the books. He's kinder, more respectful and he's actually well liked among his clients and the yard. But BBC Sherlock changed the character so much it's a day and night difference between them and upon finding that out I was really surprised. I think the show focuses more on Sherlock's character growth and him becoming a better person whereas in the books it's more about the actual cases.
