Great episode D/S it looks like a little redesign is required a couple more pumps,on each rise from the sump or cut the waterwheels down to one line but more pumps,is the easiest or build more flywheels like you said and store the power with,windmills as well so there’s less downtime with producing power which,the flywheels will take up possibly 👏👏👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

So... Without doing math, the outflow of a mechanical pump is at best. .5 cms, so you can get 2 cms with 4 pumps which appears to be insufficient to generate the level of flow you require. A resign of the sump pumps may be required, you may have to sacrifice some land and get to at least 6 pumps on the bottom and 8 to ten pumps per level. At ten pumps you can get 5cms of regular flow which on a 4 width channel should give your wheels enough efficiency to pay for energy costs of the pumps themselves Maybe you don't have to tear down the whole thing, but you might be able to shorten the second and third lanes to three width drop downs, maybe even two. You can also perhaps integrate "magic tiles" So the way this works is each tile face when water flows down it gives 2.2cms on the waterfalling, if you have a jagged edge effectively you can force 4.4 (two edges of the same block)

Waterwheel rotating in countersense of each other, but connected with a single axle... I'm surprised they're moving at all, not just completely nullifying each other 🤔
