IT WRAPS, TIES, AND BUTTONS - McCALL'S 8286 DRESS

McCall's 8286 is a dress that wraps around the back, ties in the front, and has buttons to keep the dress closed. I made the dress is a striped fabric that I believe is a linen cotton blend. I decided to lengthen the dress, and I share how the finished dress looks all sewn up.

Loved how you showed your lengthening process, and how to do the French seam. And I love that seam tape, too. I keep learning new things from your videos. I love the dress you made, it has such a nice shape. I think the back seams and the overlay are very flattering. The interfacing is dark, is it an iron on product? The neck edge instruction you gave is SO helpful. I am thinking about what alterations I would have to make for myself, and if I ever try making this I will definitely watch your video during the six months it would take me to do all of that 😂 ! Your dress is perfectly wonderful!
